*JENNIE POV*
The next day dawned early, bringing with it a flurry of activity and anticipation. We had a full schedule ahead, packed with rehearsals, fittings, and preparations to ensure our upcoming tour would be nothing short of spectacular.
As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, I found myself filled with a mix of excitement and determination. Today was a crucial day in our journey, a day that would set the tone for the performances to come. We couldn't afford any mistakes; everything had to be perfect.
We gathered in the practice room, the familiar space buzzing with energy as we stretched and warmed up. Jisoo, always the early riser, was already going through her vocal exercises, her clear voice resonating through the room. Lisa was focused on her dance moves, her body moving with practiced precision, while Chaeyoung tuned her guitar, a look of concentration on her face.
"Is that a tune from what you will cover, Chaeyoung?" I asked, impressed by the melodies flowing from her guitar. The music was enchanting, each note resonating with a sense of both familiarity and innovation.
Chaeyoung looked up with a shy smile, her fingers still dancing across the strings. "Yeah, it's a little something I've been working on. Do you like it?"
"It's beautiful," I replied, genuinely moved by the hauntingly lovely tune.
As I listened, memories from the early days of our journey together flooded back—those first moments in our shared dorm, when we were just getting to know each other. We were a mix of nerves and excitement, each of us bringing our own dreams and insecurities into that small, shared space.
I remembered how we would stay up late into the night, sharing stories and aspirations, our bond growing stronger with each passing day. We supported each other through the tough times and celebrated the victories, no matter how small. Those early days were a blend of hard work and camaraderie, setting the foundation for the group we had become.
Jisoo's gentle voice pulled me back to the present. "Remember when Chaeyoung first played for us in the dorm? We were all blown away."
Lisa laughed, a bright, infectious sound. "Yeah, and Jennie, you were the first to start singing along. That was such a great night."
I nodded, the memories warming my heart. "Those were the days when everything felt so new and uncertain, but we always had each other."
Chaeyoung strummed the final chords, her smile softening. "And now look at us, preparing for a world tour. We've come so far."
"Indeed we have," I agreed, feeling a surge of pride and gratitude for my bandmates. "Let's keep pushing forward and make this tour unforgettable, for us and for our fans."
We all exchanged determined smiles, the shared history and mutual respect strengthening our resolve. With a renewed sense of purpose, we continued our preparations.
After a few hours of intense training, our stomachs were practically growling in protest. We decided to head to the supermarket within our company building to grab some much-needed snacks. Naturally, it didn't take long for Chaeyoung and Lisa to start bickering over which snacks were the best.
"No way, Chaeyoung! These spicy ramen noodles are clearly the superior snack," Lisa declared, grabbing a few packs and holding them up triumphantly.
Chaeyoung scoffed, shaking her head vehemently. "Spicy ramen? Really? The cheese sticks are way better. You must have burned off all your taste buds with that spicy stuff," she teased, snatching up a couple of packs of cheese sticks.
Lisa pouted, her lips forming a dramatic frown. "You just don't understand the magic of spicy food, Chaeyoung. It's like a party in your mouth," she argued, clutching the ramen defensively.
