*JENNIE POV*
As I sat inside the car, surrounded by the familiar faces of my groupmates, a sense of contentment washed over me. Rosé and Lisa, exhausted from the day's performances, had succumbed to sleep, their gentle breaths filling the silence of the car. Jisoo, ever the diligent eonnie, remained engrossed in her phone, no doubt catching up on messages and updates.
Leaning against the window, I gazed out at the passing city lights, my thoughts drifting back to the events of the evening. The cheers of the audience, the adrenaline of the performances—all now felt like distant echoes, replaced by a quiet sense of fulfillment.
It was moments like these, amidst the tranquility of the night, that I found myself reflecting on our journey as a group. From our humble beginnings to the heights of success we had achieved, the road had been paved with challenges and triumphs alike.
As the lights blurred into streaks of color outside the window, I couldn't help but marvel at how far we had come. The bond between us, forged through countless rehearsals and shared experiences, was stronger than ever. We had grown not just as individual artists, but as a cohesive unit—a testament to the power of unity and resilience.
Lost in my thoughts, I couldn't help but smile at the realization of how much we had accomplished together. The road ahead may hold its own challenges, but with my sisters by my side, I knew we could overcome anything.
As the car continued its journey through the night, I closed my eyes, embracing the warmth of the moment and feeling grateful for the journey that had brought us to this point. Together, we would continue to chase our dreams, united in purpose and bound by the unbreakable bond of sisterhood.
As we arrived at our house, Jisoo eonnie, seemingly unaware that Chaeyoung and Lisa were fast asleep, eagerly reached for her phone which she had left for a while and opened the camera app. With a mischievous glint in her eye, she began snapping photos of our slumbering members.
"Ah, look at these sleepyheads," Jisoo exclaimed with a playful grin, her camera clicking away. "Rosé looks like she's dreaming of hitting those high notes or food, and Lisa—well, she's probably dreaming of food again!"
Her jokes elicited a soft chuckle from me as I watched from the sidelines, amused by Jisoo's antics. True to form, she never missed an opportunity to inject some humor into our daily lives, even at the expense of our sleeping members.
As Jisoo continued her impromptu photoshoot, capturing candid moments of Chaeyoung and Lisa in their peaceful slumber, I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and camaraderie fill the room. Despite the long day of performances and the exhaustion that weighed heavy on our shoulders, moments like these reminded us of the lighthearted joy and laughter that bound us together as a group.
With a final click of her camera, Jisoo leaned back with a satisfied grin, her phone filled with precious memories of our time together.
"Those red roses were quite something, weren't they?" Jisoo remarked, glancing at me with a curious expression.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond. "Yeah, they were unexpected," I replied vaguely, choosing my words carefully.
Jisoo nodded, a hint of intrigue in her eyes. "I wonder who sent them," she mused aloud, her curiosity piqued.
"I'm not sure," I admitted, offering a shrug. "But let's not dwell on it too much. We have plenty to celebrate tonight!"
Jisoo smiled, seemingly satisfied with my response. "You're right," she agreed, her playful demeanor returning. "Let's focus on the good times and leave the mysteries for another day."
