It's been a week since i went to the park. The day Michael went to my house, he asked if i was going to the park the next day and said maybe. I didn't go because I've been trying to find a good university since I can't stay home all the time and I have to think about my future.
I've been uni hunting this past week and found some good ones. "Mom!" I called her from my room.
She took some time to get to my room but she made it. "What?"
"I've been looking for some universities and I need your help since I have no idea which one is better." I moved a little to the left so she could see the screen.
"First of all, what do you want to study?"
"Medicine but i'm not sure if i want to be a dermatologist or cytopathologist." These where weird specialties but i find them interesting.
"You look more of a dermatologist and you can have an office and all." She kept looking at the screen. "You should go to this university." She pointed to the 2nd university on the list.
Dermatology sounds good for me. "Thank you mom."
It's early in the morning so I got dressed and grabbed my car keys. I should go take a look at the university this fine wednesday morning.
The building was 20 minutes away from my house but if there's traffic then probably 30 to 35 minutes.
I parked somewhere close to the office to save some time. The building was huge, there were other buildings of course, but the main one was immense.
I opened the office's door. "Good morning. How may i help you?" A woman with glasses and a bun said.
"I'm here to look around the university and if at the end of the tour I like it, then i would like to apply."
"Come with me." I followed her to another room and she told me to sit down.
Everything looked clean. White walls with a blue carpet covering the whole floor. The seats were comfortable.
"Follow me..." A man opened another door.
"Hemmings, Luke Hemmings." I stood up and followed him.
We walked through some halls while he was showing me the place. Everything was so modern and there were a lot of students in each class except for one. There were only 3 students in a class which i can't remember what it was about. I stopped listening to him after 10 minutes. I just looked around and saw people walking around.
"Luke!" I turned around looking if someone actually called me or if it was all in my head.
"Luke hi." Charlotte walked towards me. "What are you doing here?"
"I think i might be applying here. I need to have a good future." This is so weird. what are the odds that she studies here. This is like some kind of cliché story.
"That's great." She smiled and i knew she didn't know what else to say. "I have to get to class. I'll see you later."
The tour ending and we made our way back to the office. The man sat down behind his desk and typed in his computer.
"Luke..." He waited for me to finish his sentence.
"Hemmings."
"What do you think of the place?"
"It's clean, moderen and well-kept. I think I can see myself studying here."
"You think or you know?" He asked with a serious tone.
"I know." I corrected and emphasized on the word 'know'.
Well i'm going to asked you some questions while you fill these papers.
I stayed there for another hour until he told me i have a good chance of getting in and that he would take a good look at my grades and will contact me later on.

~Week later~
"Luke you have mail!"
I rushed down the stairs and grabbed the envelope. I stood the staring at it, scared of opening the piece of paper.
I opened the envelope and the first word i read was 'Congratulations'.

I honestly don't know how i feel about this chapter. I know I haven't updated but i'm back (more or less) and I know it's short and shitty and I apologize. I put this story on my drafts because i felt like no one liked this story but i was told that i should keep writing so that's what i'm going to do. I really hope people read this story so if you like it, tell a friend and vote. If you have theories of what will happen or just something that pops into your head then comment it. The story doesn't make sense but i promise it will in a few chapters. Right now It's just an intro of the story.
