I didn't go the next day to the park. Don't ask why. I don't even know. The day after, I was all happy that i would go to the park to meet her and felt confident but i couldn't.

By that i mean that i couldn't find any courage in me to go there. I'm such a coward.

After talking to her that day i felt different. She seemed so nice and delicate. Then there's me. I can be extremely shy or be a jerk to whoever is in front of me, there's no in between. And that bugs the hell out of me.

I was getting ready to go to work. I like working but at the same time i don't.

I like it because i can do something and not be bored to death at home but hate it because there are so many fucking rude customers every single day.

I finished tying the shoelaces and headed out. I've been working at the restaurant for i think a year and a half already.

I soon got to the restaurant and parked somewhere near the place since there weren't any reserved places for us. There were a lot of cars. The place must be full and i'm praying it isn't.

I walked inside and it was full as i expected it. Full. Of. Hungry. People. I went to the back to grab  an apron and put it around and grabbed a mini notebook to write the orders.

I saw a cute old couple on one of the booths with a child and walked towards them.

"Good afternoon. Welcome to Blue Horn. I'm Luke and i will be your waiter." I smiled politely. "Would you like a booster seat for the child?" I asked them nicely.

"Yes sweetheart that would be nice." The old lady said happily touching my arm.

Sometimes I hate working at a restaurant because it basically involves interacting with people and i'm not really good at it. And i sometimes feel uncomfortable like now but it's an old lady and i don't want to make her feel bad. Old people are like children but bigger and wrinkled.

I went to find a booster seat and when i found one i took it to the old couple's booth.

"Thank you young man. Would you help us put our granddaughter in the seat?" This cute little couple was being nice. The other day there was a grumpy old couple and it was horrible.

"No problem sir." I lift the girl up and put her in the seat. At least she didn't refuse. "Would you like to order now or do i bring you something to drink?"

"I would like some water and an orange juice for my granddaughter. And you John?" She was referring to her husband.

"I'd like a Sprite." I nodded while i wrote down the beverages on the notebook and walked towards another booth that was occupied.

"Good afternoon. Welcome to Blue Horn. My name is Luke and i will be your waiter." You have no idea how many times a day i have to say that.

"Do you have garlic bread?" The young woman probably in her late 20s asked.

"Are you expecting someone?" I asked her and she looked confused.

"No."

"Then yeah i have. Would you like some?" I had to ask. What if she was expecting a guy. Garlic can be deathly sometimes unless she had gum. I was just helping a stranger.

She nodded and i wrote it on another piece of paper. She didn't ask for anything else and i went to grab the beverages from the old couple.

"Here you go." I placed the water, orange juice and Sprite on the table. The couple was ready to order and i went to write their orders down.

I went to the kitchen to grab the garlic bread and when i was walking towards the young woman's booth I saw someone. Book girl was seating on one of the booths i'm supposed to take orders from.
