I'm sorry this took so long, I meant to only be on hiatus for a week or two but I got grounded and then I went to a convention with one of my friends.

"Alright. For the hundred of you that passed the test, please turn your attention to the screen."

I turn my head to look up at the screen, grumbling to myself. "They're going to do something to fuck up the arena, aren't they?"

Even though I was expecting it, I still flinch slightly when things start blowing up on screen. When I flinch, I stumble back slightly, almost falling over but being stopped by whoever is standing next to me.

Mera starts explaining the next part of the test, something about rescue. "This is gonna suck..." I mumble, frowning at the screen.

walk back to where I was before, a few feet behind where Bakugo and Snaggletooth are standing, and I watch as the hairy guy continues to talk to Bakugo.

"I'm guessing he may have acted rudely, or perhaps offended you. He has a tendency to try and push his own values onto others."

Oh, so they're talking about the meatball guy. "Yeah, he also has a tendency to just generally be a massive douche!" Attention is pulled toward me.

"I presume he gave you the same treatment. I apologize, I don't believe I caught your name."

"Let's keep it that way, Yeti." There are a few shouts from my classmates, and I watch as Iida runs over to me.

"L/N, that is incredibly rude! We are supposed to be civil to the other schools! As class representative it is my job to-"

"Shove it, Four-Eyes." I stand up and walk over to a more secluded area, trying my best to lose him in the small crowd.

"Ugh, so much drama... Can't I ever have a break? I feel like I'm in one of those weird romance books Toga likes to read, but without the romance part..."

A little later, a bell rings and Mera's voice comes over the loudspeaker as he starts delivering some sort of spiel about the fake city being destroyed before the Anteroom starts opening up and he announces the beginning of the test.

I start running and split off from the rest of the group before they even notice my presence. "Just gotta save as many people as I can, simple as that... I mean, they're not even real, so this should be easy." I take of from the ground so I can spot people easier. My eyes lock in on a woman and a child, so I swoop down and land on a rock nearby.

"Help! My mama is trapped under the building."

I groan softly and start moving the piece of rubble she's trapped under, my arms straining with the effort. "C'mon, move it, you need to get out of here quick!"

"Move it?! You're supposed to be reassuring when you're rescuing someone! And you didn't even bother to check us for injuries! That's points off!" The woman, who looked panicked only thirty seconds ago, starts yelling at me.

I groan in annoyance. "I don't care, just get out of there! My arms are gonna give out soon, you idiots!" They look angry but they still get up.

"Your job is more than just rescuing! You're supposed to reassure people and exercise authority! Think about it, the people here must be terrified! If you can't understand that, how do you think you could be a hero?"

I frown, resisting the urge to tell them that I don't even want to be here. "Alright, are you done now? I still need to get you to the evacuation area! You, get on my back, and I'll carry you!"
