I never really had parents. I had several people take care of me though. They taught me about their culture. Their religion, they taught me a lot of things. Many, many things.

I became really smart at a young age and I'm glad I was.

I was speaking other languages, doing simple math, I was learning a lot and I loved it.

The only thing that I had when my people found me was my name and a plush rabbit. The only thing I had. I named that thing fluffy and it's seated on top of my bed along with other plushies.

The older I got, I found out I was being raised by spies. Spies hired by the government. Their purpose was to gather information and steal from thieves.

I was so interested that I wanted to learn how to be a spy just like my family. I learned how to treat wounds, I learned how to manipulate, I learned martial arts and I learned many, many things. Things to help others and make the stupid Earth a better place.

I was the youngest spy they had but one of the best ones. I was a prodigy. I loved the praise I was given.

They were also kind to me. I felt safe there and they sent me to school and I made friends, but there was always one thing they told me.

Never tell anyone that you're a spy.

I did what I was told.

But if there was someone I didn't like I found out about them and stole things from them. I remember when I was in pre-school and I stole something from a girl I didn't like. But I got caught my Four.

Four was the strictest one out of all of them. He told me to return the toys I stole. I never felt so guilty. He told me that we don't steal from people. We steal for a good reason.

But now I'm focusing on school. I'm in many honors classes and some of the best students. I'm not the smartest in all of my classes but I do aim to be the top.

But ever since I bumped into that guy Firey I've been learning more about him.

Apparently he had a reputation as the popular, flirtatious guy in school, always surrounded by a crowd of admirers. I couldn't care less. I care more about my studies than him, but he did catch my attention.

...

A look at the orange and yellow leafs falling from the branches of the almost naked tree.

"Ooh, are you gonna talk to that handsome boy again." The red haired girl snickered.

I roll my eyes, the thought of giving in to Firey's flirting still made me feel conflicted.

"Pin you know how I feel about Firey, he's just a flirt and doesn't take anything seriously." I muttered, but my tone betrayed a hint of curiosity.

"I think I have history class with him too." I sigh.

Pin perked up, a mischievous grin on her face.

"You mean you'll get to sit next to him in class? Just the two of you, all alone...how exciting!" she teases, making me roll my eyes again.

I look down on the side walk and crunch the leafs under my feet.

Pin continues her teasing, her voice filled with delight.

"You know, they say that sitting next to someone in class can really bring two people closer together. Maybe you'll finally start to see why everyone falls so quickly for Firey's charm!"

I roll my eyes as we continue to walk to school.

"I don't care about Firey. Y'know I have missions and all that stuff. You're my hacker. You hack into peoples security cams and unlock safes for me. We both have roles we do part in. I steal, you hack. If I date someone it's a distraction."
