"Jean... I'm sorry...", Eren said, in tears. Jean said, "Eren... What happened?". Everyone was shocked that they were actually having a conversation, without yelling or anything.
Jean and Eren were forced to get along thanks to Commander Erwin, Captain Levi, and Both Squad Leaders Mike and Hange. They had to share a room, a bed, a bathroom, and such... They had to even sit next to each other during Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, and train together. Of course no one was questioned by it because they didn't know about this.
A few months later, they got along better now... Eren started to gain a crush on Jean... But didn't tell him because he was scared. Jean felt the same towards Eren as well. It felt nice for both of them... But right now... Jean was shocked in the scene in front of him. Eren, covered in blood... He was alive, but he was covered in cuts and bruises, he was also crying, but what Jean noticed was blood down his legs. Eren was limping badly. Jean quickly caught him and said, "It's okay... I got you...". Eren was sobbing. Erwin said, "Cadet Yeager... What happened? Are you okay?". Jean was silent then picked up Eren bridal style and said, "Let's get you cleaned up and bandaged... Okay?". Eren nodded.
After a while, Eren was silent for a moment. Jean said, "Eren what happened... Please talk to me". Mikasa thought, 'Like he would talk to you... You might be the reason he is like this'. Eren said, "I... I was just walking around the walls... Because I was bored and... A guy came up and knocked me out... The next thing I know when I wake up... H-he was touching me... There and...". Jean said, "Shh~ don't force yourself to talk... I got you now... Your safe". "He- He raped me!! I was scared!!". Jean held Eren close and said, "I got you... Shh~ you're safe...". Levi said, "alright... What did he look like?". "I couldn't see... He said his name was, "Axel and that he worked for someone named Kenny Ackerman...", Eren said. Levi said, "so that asshole is fucking targeting my soliders... Mikasa, you are coming with me...you guys... Make sure Eren doesn't go outside alone anymore... Especially you Jean". Jean said, "Yes sir...". Eren laid his head on Jean's shoulder and was sniffling a bit. Jean held him close and said, "I hope they find that bastard soon... I might as well fucking stab his throat". Eren said, "I'm sorry...". "You have nothing to be sorry for Eren... It wasn't your fault... It was mine because I wasn't there for you", Jean said. Everyone was shocked that Jean was actually saying this. Eren said, "...I-". "Look Eren... Anything of this shit wasn't your fault... If I wasn't so damn busy with anything else... I would have been with you and protected you... But I couldn't... And now.. Your probably fucking traumatized as shit to even be touched", Jean said. Eren placed his hand on Jeans's hand and puts it on his thigh and said, "But I won't mind if it was you Jean...". Jean was silent and made a "tch" sound as he pulled Eren closer and said, "I promise to be by your side". Eren smiled and said, "Okay". Eren soon fell asleep. Jean said, "Rest well, Eren...".
It's been a few days since the incident, Jean barely even left Eren's side since, no matter what, Eren would still have a hard time walking because of the rape, his has small cuts and bruises now due to his Titan healing them, but slowly. There are times when he would try to even take a step, and fall, but Jean always caught him so he wouldn't get hurt. Eren said, "Hey Jean". "What's up?", Jean said. Eren said, "... Can we go down stairs to eat... I'm kind of hungry". Jean said, "How are you walking?". Eren got up from his bed, and made a few steps, before almost falling, but like always Jean caught him. Jean said, "You're doing better...". Eren smiled as Jean picked him up and carried him to the mess hall.
In the mess hall, chatter was now stopped since Eren entered with Jean, holding him. Sasha said, "Hey Eren, how are you doing?". "I feel like the pain from waist down is on fire", Eren said. Jean said, "I will go get something for that after you eat okay?". Eren nodded. They sat down. Mikasa said, "So we found the bastard... He is kind of in chains... Due to Captain chaining him to the wall, by his waist, hands and feet... He is under some security with some guards". "Good", Jean said. Eren looked at Jean and smiled softly. Jean touched Eren's waist gently so he isn't hurting him. Eren said, "Jean.. You okay?... You don't grab my waist unless something is bothering you". Everyone was looking at Jean, who sighed and said, "I'm just worried that's all...". Eren said, "About". "You mostly", Jean said. Eren said, "I know your worried... But I'm fine... See...". Jean said, "Yeah I know you are fine... But I just worry about your safety... You always put others before yourself and you always rush in towards where danger occurs and you always protect everyone... But you need someone to protect you...", Jean said. Eren was silent then smiled and sad, "I have you... You are somebody that protects me... and that I am thankful for". Jean smiled and kissed Eren's forehead and said, "I love you Eren...". Eren was silent then smiled as he said, "I love you too Jean".
