Above is what I imagined Gracie's handwriting would be like

Harry nods and says "Yeah, I should. I can imagine how she feels. Unlike me, she can remember everything that night and I'm sure seeing me dead brought back the pain of losing someone you love, and we need each other we are the only family we have left"

"Well come on then to the Common Room," Hermione said impatiently, wanting to know where her friend was like the others. They all rush off to the common room and reach the fat lady's portrait. "Does anyone know the password?" Ron asks and Ginny answers him "Move over you idiot" pushing past him she then says very clearly "Expecto Patronum", and the portrait opens.

"Okay boys search the boy's dormitories and girls we will search the girls' dormitories meet back here in ten minutes" Hermione said

"Why would she be in the boy's dormitories Hermione" Ron asks

"Because Ronald from what Ginny told me that even though you me and Harry have been on the run this year the dorm still smells like Harry and Ginny often found her in Harry's bed with tear stains down her face" Hermione said angrily, and the boys didn't make any more arguments as they went up the stairs to check the boy's dorm. Ginny, Hermione and Luna ran up the girl's staircase hoping to find their friend, But the dorm was empty apart from a letter sitting on the desk and a fresh bottle of ink. Luna picked it up carefully and the three girls recognized the slanted writing of Gracie Potter. Ginny checked the time and said "it's been ten minutes we can read this downstairs" so they headed downstairs where the boys were already waiting. They took a look at their worried faces and Harry asked "where is she what's wrong". Ginny answered calmly "she is not up there but left a letter" she opened it then read

"Dear Ginny, Ron, Hermione, and Luna,

As I sit down to write this letter, the quill feels heavy in my hand, not with ink, but with the weight of goodbye. It's a strange thing, saying farewell, knowing that it's for the best, for safety, for a future where we can all look back at these dark times as nothing more than a distant memory.

Ginny, your spirit and courage have been a beacon of hope. Keep that fire burning bright, but let it warm you from within the safety of the Burrow's walls. Remember, the best protection is sometimes a quiet heart and a watchful eye.

Ron, your loyalty has been the glue that held us together. As you stand tall and strong, remember that the greatest strength often lies in the wisdom to retreat and regroup. Your family needs you, now more than ever.

Hermione, your brilliance has been our guiding light. But even the brightest minds need rest. Let the pages of your books shield you, let knowledge be your armor, and let prudence guide your path until we can all rejoice in the light of day once more. And Luna, your unique perspective has reminded us that there's always another way to look at things. Hold on to that. Let your creativity be your cloak of invisibility, hiding you from any harm that dares come your way.

This goodbye is not forever, merely a pause in the story of our lives. We will reunite under happier skies, with stories to tell and laughter to share. Until then, stay safe, stay hidden, and remember that you carry with you the strength and love of all those who stand with you, even from afar. And it is for that reason I am Running away you all know that now that Harry is dead, I will be next on the list. Please Remember that I am doing this to keep you safe. But I promise we will meet again.

With all the hope in the world, Grace Lily Potter

Ps: I still prefer Gracie".

Her voice faltered as she finished reading tears streaming silently down her face. She looked at everyone and not one of them had a dry eye.

"We must find her" Ginny says, and they all nod their agreement. Harry starts walking away

"Harry where are you going " Hermione asks

"To the ministry, I need my sister back" Harry replies and walks out of the portrait hole and the others knowing that when Harry is that desperate for something to not argue and follow him. They reach him just as he dissaperates.
