As the initial shock of the revelation settled in, the room was filled with a tense silence. George, still enveloped in Gracie's embrace, tried to process the information. Molly Weasley, though visibly affected, was already thinking ahead, her mind racing with possibilities and what-ifs.

"Wait for what?" George asked again, this time more insistently.

Gracie gently pulled away from George, her eyes meeting his with a mix of hope and determination. "We need to wait for confirmation. McGonagall has set up a meeting with the Ministry to discuss the implications and next steps. It's not just about who might come back; it's about understanding how to handle this unprecedented situation."

Ginny, who had been standing quietly near the door, finally spoke up. "If there's a chance that people from the past could return, we need to be prepared. We can't just jump into this without knowing how it could affect the present."

Molly nodded slowly, her face a mask of conflicted emotions. "And what about Fred?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Fred," George said, taking a deep breath, "was more than a brother to me. He was my twin. If there's even a slim chance he could come back, we need to know how. We need to understand what this means for us all."

Hermione, who had been silent, stepped forward. "We need to be careful. The return of people from the past isn't something to take lightly. There are magical laws and consequences that could affect the stability of the wizarding world."

Ron, who had been quietly watching, added, "We need to gather as much information as we can. Maybe there are records or magical texts that could shed light on this. If we're going to wait, we should at least make sure we're as prepared as possible."

Mrs. Weasley wiped away a tear, taking a deep breath. "Alright, then. We'll wait. But while we do, we need to make sure we're ready for anything."

Gracie nodded, her resolve firm. "Yes. I'll make sure to keep everyone updated on what McGonagall finds out. And in the meantime, let's try to move forward. There's still a lot to be done."

The group began to disperse, each person lost in their own thoughts about the uncertain future. George, however, lingered behind, looking at Gracie with a mix of gratitude and curiosity.

"Gracie," he said softly, "thank you for bringing this to us. I know it must have been hard."

Gracie smiled, her eyes reflecting the weight of her words. "It was. But we're all in this together. And no matter what happens, we'll face it as a family."

As the evening wore on, the Weasley household slowly returned to its usual rhythm, though the air was thick with the gravity of the situation. Everyone knew that the future was uncertain and that they were standing on the brink of something potentially monumental. They clung to hope, but they also understood that they had to be prepared for whatever might come next.
