I open my eyes and I'm lying face down on the dirty dusty carpet. The events of the night flood back to me. Harry and Gracie my babies and James the man who faced the most dangerous wizard who ever lived, wandless just to give me more time the brave man I fell in love with. Gone, they are all dead, what am I going to do? Tears fell like a river down my face. I sat with my head in my hands crying for who knows how long until I feel strong arms wrap around me. I lift my head up and I am staring into the Hazel eyes of my husband. "James you're alive" he nods.
"We should probably go to Hogwarts and talk to Dumbledore," he says and they disapparate.
TheY land in Hogsmeade and James casts a disillusionment charm on them to avoid people staring.
James and Lily reach the gates of Hogwarts and what they saw shocked them and they froze at the sight awaiting them. The castle was in ruins, there was blood spattered in the halls and the corridors were silent. There were bodies every few steps. They reached the headmasters office only to see the stone gargoyle lying on its side and it was unable to ask for the password, they walked to the door and knocked. They heard a voice say "come in" and Lily opened the door at the same time James lifted the disillusionment charm. There was a scream then there was a wand pointed at them.
"Minnie," James said happily.
"Who are you Lily and James Potter were murdered" Minerva Mcgonagall said.
