"So we did die." Lily squeaked "What happened, how long has it been? Are Harry and Gracie alive?" She turned to McGonagall who still had her wand pointed at their throats. "Calm down, If you guys are really Lily and James Potter your questions will be answered, but first. Accio Veritaserum" McGonagall cried and a small bottle came soaring into her outstretched hand. "Will you take this?" she asked Lily and James and they nodded. McGonagall handed the small bottle to James who put a few drops on his tongue then McGonagall asked him some questions "What is your full name?"
"James Potter."
"Who are you married too"
"Lily Marie Potter nee Evans"
"Who are your children?"
"Harry James Potter & Grace Lily Potter but we call her Gracie."
"What is your Patronus?"
"A stag."
McGonagall seemed satisfied with his answers and said smiling "Welcome back James, your children will be extremely happy to see you." Then it was Lily's turn but it took James 20 minutes to coax his hysterical wife into having it. Then McGonagall asked Lily some questions
"What is your full name?"
"Lily Marie Potter nee Evans"
"Who are you married to?"
"James Potter"
'Who are your kids?"
"Harry and Grace who we nicknamed Gracie Potter"
"What is your Patronus?"
"A Doe"
McGonagall beamed happily then she had a thought 'If these two are back I should send people to check the Ministry, The cave and everywhere else someone fighting for the light side died. I need to contact the minister at once'.
"So James and Lily I suppose you want to meet your children" McGonagall said looking from James to Lily who were nodding vigorously. McGonagall smiled and said "Expecto Patronum" and 4 silver/blue tabby cats with spectacle marks around their eyes appeared. "Go and find Harry, Gracie, Ron and Hermione and bring them Here." The Patronuses ran off to find their requested students while McGonagall put a disillusionment charm on James and Lily. Then they sat and waited for the 4 students to turn up.
Meanwhile at the Burrow
Harry, Gracie, Ron and Hermione were woken up by a soft rubbing on their heads. They listen to the instructions from McGonagall "Dear Harry/Gracie/Ron/Hermione, I am so sorry to wake you up from some well earned rest but a.. Situation has occurred at Hogwarts and I need you all here ASAP leave a note for Molly so she doesn't worry and apparate here I have turned off the wards for a while so you will be able to apparate here please meet me in my office-
