Laurier.

With the laurel leaves as their family crest, it was a symbol of victory and glory.

The First King of each kingdom was chosen and crowned by their hands and the History of Laurier went so far that it could even be considered as the four kingdom's history.

With enough wealth to be at the top, all throughout the war and history, in arts and culture . . . the name Laurier has been engraved in all corners of the world.

The King of the Clover Kingdom — where the Laurier family decided to reside after the great war between the kingdoms — felt threatened after Caroline Laurier took her seat as the Head of the family, so he ordered the Royal Gate Edict, which limits the family's activities and stops them from spreading their influence around.

Soon after that, Caroline established a scholarship program that didn't distinguish commoners from nobles, only outstanding individuals. Every talented individual that received the Laurier's grace soon came to fill the important roles all over the kingdom.

Thus, in the end, the previous King had to take back the Royal Edict he'd created.

"It's so hard to see them." A man pulled his hood off, staring at the land of the Laurier family. If he didn't know the way and he doesn't have magic, he wouldn't be able to reach their land.

The Grand Dukedom of Macedonia is a vast and prosperous land located in the far northwestern part of the Clover Kingdom, near the Neutral Territory and the borders between the Clover and the Heart Kingdom. Its size is two times bigger than the Witches' Forest and it has four seasons throughout the year.

The security around the Duchy is strict and tight, and it is closed off to even the members of the royal families. It is well protected by the Myrmidons of Laurier and their vast land gives its citizens everything that they will need. Hence, there was no reason to socialize with people outside of the duchy.

"Welcome, Julius-sama." The only people who can enter the duchy to visit the Laurier Estate without a prior appointment is the current Wizard King, Julius Novachrono, as well as the Queen of the Heart Kingdom.

"The Duchess is having tea with her family." Julius was guided to the office of Grand Duchess Caroline. On his way, his eyes couldn't help but wander around, taking in the interior design of the household.

'For a family whose wealth surpasses even the royal families, they are rather humble.' He thought as he noticed that there weren't any extravagant designs or appliances on the ceilings and floor. They kept their house simple and neat.

"Your Grace, Julius-sama has arrived." Twisting the doorknob and pushing the door open, the Duchess' Secretary, Leigh, announced the arrival of the Wizard King.

"Have you been well?" Julius stood on the doorway. He placed a hand over his chest and lowered his head to a bow. The basic greeting that the Laurier family values.

"Has that bastard finally brought an end to the Kingdom?" Caroline grumbled upon seeing him. Thinking about the countless news she received about the current king, she felt a sudden headache.

"He hasn't," he replied, sending a wave of relief to the family.

The Grand Dukedom of Macedonia in the northwestern land was known for its dangerous terrains and rough mountains. As the head of that land, Grand Duchess Caroline was known in two ways. One was her extraordinary looks and another for her monstrousness. She fears nothing, not even the king himself.
