"W-What?" Gundham said, shocked. His face quickly turned red.
"I've chosen you, Gundham," I reiterated.
"I-Impossible!"
"But it is possible, in fact it just happened."
He pulled his scarf over his face, trying to hide the embarrassment. He ran out of the restaurant, so naturally I ran after him.
"Gundham, wait!" I shouted when we were outside near the pool. He stopped moving and turned around to face me. "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you... I just wanted to let the other guys know as well so that they'd stop pining over me."
"No, your ways are understandable. It's just... it's just..." His words trailed off.
I gently held his hands. "You don't have to say anything else, I understand what you're trying to say. It's an overwhelming situation to be in." I smiled and tried to comfort him. He slowly and awkwardly pulled me into a hug while looking off to the side. I hugged him back, tight and strong.
"May I... kiss you?" he whispered.
"Of course," I said.
We looked at each other, but the moment our eyes met, his eyes darted away. He looked back at me, struggling to maintain eye contact. He closed his eyes and started leaning in. I reciprocated and we had our first ever kiss. It was amazing, and I felt incredible in that moment with my lover.
