"...Hajime."
"Wait, me??" Hajime said, confused. "You're choosing me?"
"Yeah. I loved our date together, which was my first ever date, and I wanna spend more time with you and get to know you on a deeper level," I said. I walked next to where Hajime was sitting and grabbed his hands. I held them in mine. "Do you accept?" I asked.
"Y-Yes, of course!" he said, his face beet red.
"Good, I'm really glad!"
We sat in silence for a moment. Hajime took his hands out of mine, and stood up. We walked over to an empty table, and he pulled out a chair for me. I sat down, and he gently pushed my chair in. He sat next to me, and made loving eye contact with me.
"I'm really surprised you picked me," he said.
"You are?"
"It's just that... I'm so inexperienced that I can't even imagine anyone wanting me."
"As you said on our date, we'll learn together." I smiled.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I said back.
We leaned our heads close, and before I knew it we were kissing each other. It was at that point I knew I made the right decision.
