The screen showed lettering saying "A few weeks later."

Wei Wuxian was excitedly running around the disciples making them laugh as they waited for their sect leader. It was time for them to leave for the annual Wen Sect archery contest. He had insistently asked if he would be allowed to represent the sect in the archery game. To his utter joy, Lan Wangji and Quingheng-Jun had given in to his constant badgering. As soon as he got the ok he rushed out of their office to pick out a good bow. Wei Wuxian had always loved archery. In his excitement, he shot five arrows simultaneously while doing a flip landing all the shots in their intended bull's eye as soon as he was in the training field.

All the Lans stared in wonder at the trick Wei Wuxian pulled while practicing his archery.

Wen Rouhan- How in the underworld did he stay so good at archery after all these centuries?                                     It's not like we can practice any of this stuff. When I was sent here I almost had                                       to start from scratch not power-wise but my accuracy was garbage.

Baoshan- A- Ying always enjoyed hunting. During harsh winters he would hunt between                                         retrieving souls leaving the cleaned meat in poor villages. Yilling has always had him                         watching over them after all it was his home.

Lan Wangji- Wait Yilling was Wei Ying's home? Is that why father-in-law gave it to him during our                              marriage?

Everyone looked at Lan Wangji weirded out that he had called Wen Rouhan father-in-law since he was still denying the bond with Wei Wuxian. He didn't notice making plans to go visit Wei Ying's home as soon as he could to learn more about his husband. Qingheng-Jun sighed knowing his son was too far gone in his fantasy world to notice anyone else.

Seeing how good their young Madam was, had inspired the disciples to train harder than ever trying to keep up with his enthusiasm. The endeavor wasn't easy it seemed like Wei Wuxian never ran out of energy. He would only stop practicing when his husband dragged him to eat dinner. He was still teaching and other things but all his free time was spent in the archery grounds.

Lan Wangji made his way over to where all the disciples stood lined up. He took a second to be amused at Wei Wuxian's excited energy before announcing his arrival. They headed out on the long flight to Quishan immediately with Wei Wuxian by his side. The group would stop at an inn later that night and split two people per room since not all of them had the energy to fly the entire trip without stopping. Wei Wuxian made sure everyone was well-fed and taken care of during their stop. He made sure to help the disciples in whatever they needed until curfew when he ushered everyone to their rooms.

Lan Xichen- He is a good Madam. He inspires those of the sect to be better and takes care of                                      them.

The Lans nodded with soft smiles.

Lan Wangji pouted when Wei Wuxian silently came into their room an hour after the normal curfew. He had thought Lan Wangji would have already been asleep instead of waiting up for him. "Lan Zhan don't look at me that way I had to make sure everyone was settled with no emergencies." "Mn" "Lan Zhan are you mad at me?" Lan Wangji just grabbed Wei Wuxian as soon as his outer robes were off pulling him to bed. He grumpily told Wei Wuxian to sleep before turning off the lights with a wave of his hand. Wei Wuxian giggled to himself from his pinned spot in Lan Wangji's arms. Who would have thought the stoic Hanguang-Jun was so needy? Lan Wangji's hand covered his mouth for a moment "Shh, sleep Wei Ying."
