"You! What do you think your-"

"I-It's okay Y/N kun. He helped me"

You stormed towards the guy who seem to just boredly stare at you with disinterest. The fury that was burning inside you only continues to ignite with every step and Rei immediately saw this. She set aside her fear and anxiety to calm you down as she hurriedly block your path.

"I-It's okay.. He means no harm."

You looked down to see her having tears still falling from her eyes and there you saw the reflection of a person that you were. In her eyes shows the person who placed her in this horrible situation in the first place. Yes your eyes were burning with rage yet inside of it, has implanted guilt that loomed inside your head, or perhaps in your heart.

Rei didn't deserve to be in this situation yet you managed to put her in danger because of your petty and idiotic judgment for her. Everything wouldn't have been prevented if you just didn't even do this in the first place.

The guy sighed before putting his cap back on. He has lost interest on the scene infront of him thought his eyes were on Rei as ahe seems to have caught his attention.

"I'm sorry for making this a misunderstanding. I apologize if I look like that."

The guy spoke making you and Rei look at him. Although you have suspicions towards him more than Rei, Rei was the opposite. She has trusted him and appriciated what he did to her. Not many people would interfere in someone's problem like that and he was an exception. Rei bowed down to show her respect for him.

"Thank you for helping me. I'm forever grateful for your actions."

This made the guy flustered as he didn't expect Rei to shower her deep gratitude towards him. But what also added in as a factor was the way Rei thanked for his actions. He wasn't sure on how he would react to her gesture. But once Rei fixed her posture and stood up straight, he notice that there was tears still falling from her eyes. This in turn made him pull out something out of his pocket and handed on her hand a lollipop.

"My Mom always told me, Lollipops will always cheer you up. So cheer up okay?"

His voice wasn't the cold and snarky piercing that he used earlier against the drunk man. This time it was very different. Rei didn't know what to say as she stares at the lollipop in shocked. His voice sounded so assuring and safe that Rei chuckled upon his actions. He smiled and walked passed the two as you glare at him as he leave the store and slowly dissappear out from your view.

"What a weirdo. Why would he hand anyone candies? What does he think? We're a bunch of kids-"

"Mmmhh this lollipop is sweet hehehe."

Your eyes widen upon hearing her words that had escaped her mouth. You had to turned around to see if she was really gonna use the Lollipop and there she was, savoring the sweet strawberry taste of the candy. A wave of weird feeling stab your heart upon seeing her smile with the lollipop. Something inside you absolute despise seeing Rei happy with that candy as yet you can't explain where it was coming from.

It was just this uneasy feeling that washed all of your body in an instant. It made your stomach feel like it just had a swirl of food and it whipped out a storm that needed to be release. Thats what your feeling towards Rei right now. You Wanted to yank out that lollipop and step on it. Something about it just boils your blood.

"Hey Rei, you shouldn't be trusting guys like him. Did you see his eye bags? He could have been a crack addict!"

"I know what an addict looks like Y/N-Kun. Besides, he has helped me from getting attacked earlier so tto me, my trust on him is approved"
