"So let me get this straight. This girl is your Uncle's prodigy from Japan and is staying at your place because, he trust you to take care of her?"

Kazuha asked, voice full suspicions and doubt as the only action you can do was nod your head at her. Honestly speaking, this was the fastest and possible solution that can come up your head the moment Rei bursted out of that door earlier. You didn't even expect Rei to return home that fast.

And what's even more funny is that, the two were both women from Japan. You have heard Rei speak Kanji before so this excuse of yours will surely be effective in some way. The only issue is that, will Rei be able to get your signal at all.

Because just like you, Rei was also suprised to see you come home with another women beside her. And the first thing that process in her head was that your replacing her.

Her heart shattered into thousand pieces seeing you bring Home Kazuha. She took one step back and felt her world collapse right infront of her. Self doubt and self consciousness about her appearance once again attacked her leaving her speechless and catching for breath. But even before that trigger of her hits, you pulled in close to her pulling her inside holding her hand.

But instead of feeling warm and safe, she felt betrayed and cold like the winter nights she tried to warm herself up despite the howling winter winds that pierced her thin clothes. She was confused, annoyed, sad but overall, she was devastated seeing Kazuha with you. She once again felt like reality slapped her what her status was in society.

And now here she is, trying to understand why you were lying infront of Kazuha about her true origin. Although it's true that she's from Japan, she finds it uneasy that your including your uncle in your excuse because she hasn't even met your uncle face to face.

So as Kazuha stare at her trying to see if Your reason was valid, Rei saw an opportunity to end things here. With a broken heart, her mouth was her powerful weapon right now and with a few words, she was ready to destroy you and reveal the true status of your relationship with her.

So as Rei took a deep breath, she glance at you for the last time and there she saw the fear and worry that was written all over your eyes. It was preety obvious for her that you were hoping that she would bounce on you back catch up to your reason. But Rei was ready to say her decision. She had enough of this facade relationship and wanted to be free from all this.

But why is she pressed anyway?

Was it really just because you brought another woman at home beside her?

Or is it because she felt like she's no longer your number one?

These questions were running wild on her mind and there was no definitive answer to all those questions whatsoever. She didn't hear your side yet because you immediately tried to make up a reason why you brought Rei at your house. She was still lost in all of this and didn't have a proper footing on this scenario because it's the least she expect it.

All of a sudden, she didn't know if she would even tell the truth because now, hesitation was added on her train of thoughts. On one hand, she wanted to tell the truth and leave but there's also a side of hers that still trust you on what your doing. So with another deep sigh, she smiled facing Kazuha.

"Hai, What Y/N-Kun said is true. I'm from Nagoya transferring here to the US to uhh...pr-practice under Y/N-Kun's uncle. It's nice to meet you."

In typical Japanese Custom, Rei bowed in a proper 90° angle as Kazuha was amazed and chuckled at her gesture. It may not mean much to you but for Kazuha, she find it a very good expression of humbleness and friendliness towards her. Reciprocating the younger ones action, Kazuha bowed as well greeting her with an open heart.
