"Hmmm I see, so he tripped on the stairs and now he can't move? Am I getting that correctly?"

Cody asked as Rei and Minji explained to him the state you are in right now. Despite hearing it, Cody wanted to laugh out loud on your condition because this wasn't the first time this kind of incident had happened. He has seen and heard countless incident from you that came from her sister. All of them surely made an impact to you.

"Yes sir. So that's why we're here instead."

Rei said finishing up their explanation on your situation. They knew they were up on a task because they had a few boxes placed on the floor. Using the basic math she learned from you, she counted a total of 8 boxes in all. She doesn't know if they were heavy but with the amount of boxes that was placed, they obviously needed to be careful.

"Well, I suppose you could need my he-"

"N-No it's okay Mr. Rhodes. We got this covered."

Minji interrupted cody from finishing his sentence because if he learned the truth about their identity, it would send them into a frenzy of disaster. It's their identity and their history with you that keeps them from asking for Cody's help.

Cody on the other hand looked perplexed at the words spoken by Minji. He knew that the boxes weren't as easy as they look. They were filled with complicated wiring and controls that were stuffed together. Adding all that, it would make each boxes weight at least 2 kg each. Yet their faces showed a mix of emotion he can't seems to understand.

It was a mix of worry, determination and admiration all in one. Like a swirl of emotion he once felt when he was tasked to be the quarterback of the Company. It was such a big responsibility but being a Rhodes, he had to continue to outperform himself for the company. And she sees it from the two girls. Which makes him wonder, why were the two of them so keen on doing this?

"You two really care about him huh?"

It was such a simple question yet that was direct hit on both their heart for different reasons.

Rei was blushing from her cheeks as she looked down avoiding eye contact with him. Because as she heard that question asked to her, her heart starts beating rapidly. A rubbing storm twirled on her stomach that she can't explain why it form. But despite it all, her mind echoed the memories of you. The way you smile, laugh, and just overall pleases her. She couldn't think of any bad memories she had with you because she felt the care and warm whenever she was with you. All those thoughts made her smile a little but she hide it from everyone.

Minji on the other hand got her ears turning red and frozen on her place. Cody's word echoed all over head as it reminded her of all the things that you have done for her. Despite the initial meeting, somehow the memories of you stuck on her was how honest you were with her. It made her feel so confused, worried, scared and anxious on what she's feeling but despite her mind being stormy. Her heart was beating repeatedly.

"I'm glad he found friends that cared for him.."

Cody's words snapped the bubble of their own thoughts as they focused on what he had just said. Another piece of mystery was added in your role as Rei was the first one to try and connect his words to your life.

"Why would that be?"

Minji asked, her own curiosity getting the best of her as well. Cody could only sigh heavily as he recalled the events from the past of your life. He knows he shouldn't be sharing this kind of memories to anyone because he himself respect your decision to keep everything in the past. After all, he along respected the choice of her sister to let your past be spoken by your own lips.
