(Sebastian's pov lol)
Oliver was sounding a bit weird. I was texting him about how it was nice to make a new friend like Callie, maybe he was just busy. His texts were more shallow than usual. Most of the time, his texts were always super exciting and enthusiastic, but not right now. I shrugged it off and soon ended the conversation.
I decided to go to bed early, so I could wake up earlier in the morning. I got ready, put on my sleepwear and brushed my teeth. Then I made my way to my bed, exhausted from the contents of the day. I grabbed my phone, quickly sending a good night text to Oliver.
To Oliver 😍
Good night, love you
...He didn't answer. He always answers, sending a lovely text even better than mine. But he didn't this time. It was confusing, and a little worrying, but I decided to let it go and just go to sleep. So I laid in bed, trying not to wonder about what Oliver could be doing. I knew if I thought of him too much at this time, I wouldn't end up going to sleep until hours later.
The next morning, I quickly got ready for school, excited to see Oliver; and Callie, I guess. I took the train, got off at my stop, and walked to the school from there. Even though I was there earlier than usual, I thought that Oliver would be at school before me, but he wasn't.
I walked into the classroom and was greeted by Callie, but Oliver was nowhere to be seen. I walked towards my chair and sat down, getting on my phone while I waited for class to start. But Callie distracted me, I put down my phone and looked up to where she was sitting. She was sitting on the desk in front of mine, instead of the chair.
"Sebastian, you should totally go out with me. Like, you didn't hear it from me, but Oliver has such a big gay crush on you, it's so obvious." She talked and talked, saying the most absurd things. I didn't like how she talked about Oliver, but I suppose he wouldn't mind.
"If you go out with me, he will finally get that you're straight. Then he'd like, finally back off, y'know?" She seemed so stupid. She had no idea what she was talking about, just going off about dumb assumptions she'd made.
I shook my head, deciding to confront her assumptions head on. "No, I don't mind Oliver like you think, he's my boyfriend." I said abruptly, not wasting a second glance at her dumbfounded expression. Then her face turned to one of disgust. "Come on, Seb, that's not funny. It's just gross." She seemed to laugh nervously. Then she directed her eyes to one of the classroom doors.
I turned my head to look and in came Oliver. It was weird that he had only gotten here now, he's always a bit early. He looked tired, still as beautiful as ever, but still tired. I wondered what could be wrong. Callie glared at him from across the room, and he avoided eye contact. It made me a bit mad to see Callie look at him like that, but they are old friends, maybe they just had some fight or disagreement.
Then I turned back to Callie. "He is my boyfriend. Now get to your seat, class will start soon." She scoffed, got off the desk she was sitting on, and left for her seat. "Faggot." She muttered under her breath on the way.
