Today I plan on telling Sebastian that I love him. I woke up early for school and realized Goober had moved to his corner of the room. I sighed, lifted the covers, and climbed out of bed. I quickly got ready, getting dressed, brushing my teeth, and whatever other hygiene stuff I needed to do.

I left my room and went to the kitchen for a quick breakfast before leaving for school. I got to school a few minutes later and sat in my seat. Soon Sebastian gets to school, as he passes he holds my hand slightly before letting go as he gets closer to his seat, and further away from me.

I smile and happily stare at him during class. And when it's lunch time, I go and sit with him. "Hey, Oliver." Sebastian mutters my way. I giggle and wave. "Hi." I sit down in my usual seat in front of him and lean forward to kiss the tip of his nose. It's the least bit of affection I can share at school anyway.

"Sebastian, what's your favorite candy?" I ask abruptly, while slightly picking at my lunch. "Oh, uh, I don't really know. I don't eat much candy." I let out a dramatic gasp. "You don't have a favorite candy? At all?" I ask with an even more dramatic tone and he shakes his head. "Well then, we should have a sleepover with lots of candy, ice cream, and all other kinds of sweets."

Sebastian lets out a laugh and holds my hand under the table. "Sure. My place or yours?" I let out a surprised gasp this time. "Your place? I've never been before." He nods and smiles sweetly at me. "Wait, so I'd meet your mom and see your room and, and...see your room...And meet your mom. Wait, does she know?"

He only semi-nods before sort of shaking his head and I just look at him with a confused tilt to my head. "I mean she knows but...She kinda...doesn't like humans sooo..." He looks away with a slight guilt in his eyes. "It's ok. I'll just have to work extra hard to get her to like me." I nod my head as I say this, Sebastian chuckles but nods back.

A little after school ends me and Sebastian are walking home together hand in hand. "Sebastian, when would we have that sleepover?" He shrugs and puts the hand not holding mine into his pocket. "Just whenever you want I guess, my mom won't mind." I nod and decide to forget about it for now.

But, with that out of my mind, all I can think about is the promise I made to myself to tell Sebastian I love him. Am I really ready though? We haven't known each other for more than 2 months now. But if the feeling I feel isn't love then what could it possibly be.

"Sebastian, I gotta tell you something." He stops for a moment to look at me, head on. "What is it?" His grip on my hand tightens slightly and it makes my heart jump. "I, uh, uhm...It's hard to say..." Sebastian nods his head and grabs my other hand as he waits for me to say something.

"I, uh...I...love you." I look down at my feet, our intertwined hands in the way, but he lets go. He let go and moved his hands to my face, lifting it up to look at him. He smiles sweetly and talks in a soft voice. "I love you too." I look at him with a straight face for a few seconds before breaking out in a fit of laughter.

He looks back at me with a confused face and all I can do is continue laughing and giggling. "I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you, I promise." I tell him in between giggles. He looks confused for a few more seconds before beginning to laugh along with me.

We laugh together for a few seconds before regaining our composure enough to have another conversation. "I'm sorry, I just got so nervous about telling you that just for you to say it back so easily!" I say with a few more giggles. "Really? It's okay, I get it. I mean it." He tells me, grabbing my hand again for us to continue walking. I let out one last chuckle and nodded at him. "Thank you, Sebastian."
