CHAPTER 27

The next two weeks of school were going to be the last until summer break. It was pretty exciting, but also a little scary. I just hoped I would still get to see Sebastian pretty often. At least once a week and I'd be happy.

But there were still two weeks, so two more weeks of boring school; two more weeks with Sebastian. I woke up and got to school the same way I had all year, just a little more excited to see Sebastian than I was before I met him.

The two weeks seemed to go by fast, just the same stuff as always. At least I got to hang out with Sebastian a lot. We had also made some plans for the summer, to hang out every now and then. As well as some plans for my upcoming birthday.

And before I knew it, summer had begun. It was somewhat sad, having to say goodbye to a few seniors I had liked. But next year, I'll be a senior. I guess I'll have to say goodbye to people like me next year.

I started the summer with helpless bed-rotting, having nothing to do. But soon I would get to hang out with Sebastian, which made me really glad; glad enough to get up and take care of myself until the day I'd get to see him again.

We planned to meet at a cute little cafe near my house and we'd probably go to my house afterwards. I quickly got ready and ran towards the cafe once it was time, overly excited to see him.

I got there and hugged Sebastian as soon as I saw him. "Hi, Sebastian!" He hugged me back and chuckled at my excitement to see him. "Hey, Ollie." We greeted each other and walked inside the cafe.

We ordered some drinks and pastries and went to sit down in a small booth after we got them. We sat across from each other, much to my dismay, but at least we got to have good conversation and eye contact.

"You know, this is kind of our first dinner date." He pointed out and I nodded my head. "Oh, yea. I guess it is." I said, taking a bite of one of the pastries we got.

We talked for a while longer before we were soon walking back towards my house. I hope he stays the night, I hope he stays forever. We got to my house and did what we usually do, just hanging out in my room.

He decided to not stay the night sadly. He eventually went home and I just went to bed, sad that he left. It's crazy, Sebastian has practically consumed my every thought. It's as if he's the reason I'm still living, the reason I don't just give up right now.
