I sighed, staring at the ceiling before my frie- no, accomplice? Whatever, friend it is, tapped me on the shoulder.
"What?" I snarled at him. "Jeez, did I touch a nerve already?" He laughs at me and I raise a brow. "Sorry man, but remember that girl back in fifth grade? Y'know? Dhanz-something was it?"
Ah, I remember her, she was the reason I was second in HALF of my rewards. I hated her guts, the fact she was loved by basically all the staff in my old school, the fact she was all the parent's favorite, the dream child. "Yeah, what about her." I sigh.

"I heard she transferred here." My friend whispers in my ear.

"Julian. Where did you get that information." I demand, it was barely meant to be a question anyway.

"Well-" he was just about to reply when the teacher walked in and silenced the class.

"Class, before we start the lesson for today, let's welcome a very //gifted// young woman into our room, everyone, please welcome Dhanzielle."

And there she was, the bane of my goddamn school life. "Hello, I'm Dhanzielle Lianna Francis, Dhanz for short if you want." She smiled that perfect pure smile before she turned to our teacher.
"Well, Dhanz, you may sit next to Julian over there." She pointed to the left of Julian, right next to the window. Quickly, she walked around the scattered chairs, smiling to each person who sat in them before she finally reached her's.

"So class, today we'll be tackling some basic Greek Mythology." Mrs. Jen explained. "Does anyone have a common idea of Greek Mythology."
I raised my hand, easy. "Yes Reece?" "Make believe stuff and gods right?" I smirked.
Dhanzielle snickered and rose her hand. "Yes Dhanz?" Mrs. Jen called. "Mythology isn't just about 'make believe stuff'" she giggled. "It's based off myths from all sorts of religions or beliefs, and not just some 'gods' too, you'd be talking about greek gods /AND/ goddesses, unless you're thinking there's only /make believe stuff/ in mythology." She pauses. "Not to mention the fact that Greek Mythology has much heavy effect in believed origins in a lot of foreign countries, people also believe that the greek gods leave marks on a lot of almighty countries back in the day." She ended with a smile.

I felt a flush rushing up the tip of my ears as I clenched my jaw. What a little- I was cut short of my thought when Mrs. Jen coughed and smiled. "Well Dhanzielle, very nice explanation and point. Looks like you may have a competition for your crown Reece." I clenched my jaw to refrain a retort. Annoyed at the fact that the girl JUST transferred, and is already loved by our homeroom advisor. I huff before I steal a glance, she was smiling proudly, talking to a girl in front of her. 'Still a chatterbox I see.' I think to myself, making my face crinkle. "Um... Reebro, your face looks like a grandpa's... what are you so mad about?" Julian asks beside me. I turn my head slightly to him and sigh. "The new girl's a brat, that's why." I grumble. "Damn... didn't take you for the jealous type, oh but then again-" he teases and I am now daydreaming of this class to finally end.
