"M-O! R-G! E-N! Morgen High! M-O! R-G! E-N! Morgen High!"

The entire covered court buzzes with the rhythm of drumbeats and the lively cheers of Morgen High students, all celebrating the intramural event happening today.

8 o'clock pa lang ng umaga, buhay na buhay na ang buong paligid. Competition pa lang naman ng yell ngayon, at pagkatapos nito ay magsisimula na ang mismong laban ng mga athlete.

Pakiramdam ko ay mabibingi na ako sa sobrang ingay ng paligid. Kung bakit ba kasi pumunta pa ako ngayon. I thought that I will only attend here just for the band that will be taking place later in the evening, pero hindi ko naman inaakalang pupunta pala ako ngayong umaga.

It's definitely because of him, Davin. Nag-DM pa nga siya sa akin kahapon after niyang i-retweet iyong tweet ni Conan. He told me that he's going to support our band. And because of thinking about it, I couldn't get my mind out of it.

I cannot believe it. He's really making a banner.

Sa nakikita ko pa lang sa picture, hindi pa 'yon tapos. I couldn't even read text properly since half lang ang nakikita. Banner pa ba 'to? It almost look like a slogan made for a contest entry!

And because of that, it makes me want to do something for him as well. Since he's the one to blame for me being here, I've decided to just do him a favor too. Pero hindi ko sinabi sa kanya na panonoorin ko ang laban nila.

I took a glance at my rose gold watch, and I almost sigh out of dismay at my seat because I had to wait for more than an hour before the sports began.

I was able to find out that volleyball will start later at 10:30 AM, thanks to Conan and Vans who couldn't stop talking about the intramurals last night in our group chat.

"Red! Loosen your expression a bit!" Edorina clung her arm around mine, forcing me to cheer for the yell teams. "Mukha ka nang bored na bored, oh!"

Pinihit niya ang dalawang pisngi ko paharap sa kanya. She forcibly stretched her both forefingers beside my lips to form a smile on my face.

"Gan'yan, ha?!" Pinanlakihan niya ako ng mata.

"Oo na."

But I couldn't seem to match Edorina's energy right now, kunwari ay nakikisabay pa siya sa mga sumisigaw. Her energy's enough for me to be entertained too.

"I told you, Red, maganda talagang sumali ka sa banda," she bought out.

Nandito na kami ngayon sa cafeteria, nakaupo sa usual seat namin habang kumakain ng usual naming meryenda. Ngumingiti-ngiti pa siya sa akin, her eyes were gleaming which I've never seen for so long.

"Bakit naman?" I asked.

"Kasi napansin kong you're getting more and more surrounded with people, which made me relief as well dahil hindi na ako masyadong mag-aalala sa 'yo na mag-isa ka kapag hindi ako pumapasok," tuloy-tuloy niyang paliwanag.
