Chapter 24

Many months later~

"Boy that was fun!" Ara of the skies rambled on to herself. Troubling others especially her enemies was always taken into consideration. It was pretty much her battle strategy to weaken her enemies before a battle. Accept this time she would have to wait. But tormenting Shesshomaru's lover seemed to please her. She would mess with Sesshomaru herself, but he was to strong to be fooled by her meddling tricks.
"Ugh waiting for nine months is such a pain." She complained to the council.
"You must understand that for their pups to grow, takes time. If you want them to serve you, well, you're going to have to wait even longer." She shot him a very cold stare, knowing that he was right. She wanted one of Sonyas pups to serve her. Mainly to torture Sesshomaru and corrupt his heart. But she needed and heir more than anything and there was no one willing to give her one.
(A/POV. Can you blame men for despising her? I mean she's wicked)

Sonya's POV

Oh dear. Many months have passed by since I had those terrible dreams. Over time, my stomach has started to grow in size. It's been quite a hassle getting from place to place all the time. Getting up and going to the bathroom is even a struggle. But I have Sesshomaru to help me with things. I understand that he's only trying to help me but, he thinks I'm helpless. He makes me feel so weak, it's just I want him to know I can take care of myself. It's been five months and I occasionally get sick here and there, but it's nothing unusual. Honestly I wish I could do things on my own.

I twisted and turned my head but for some reason, my body wouldn't turn over. I seriously didn't want to open my eyes to see why my body wasn't cooperating. But I had to, there was no other choice, I thought something was wrong with the pup or pups.

But when I opened my eyes, all I saw was the long silver locks of Sesshomaru's hair. He had his head on my growing lump and his arms around my waist. His left hand stroked the smooth skin on my belly.
"Sesshomaru?" I whispered
"Shhh...."
I tried staying quiet, but the pup or pups began to move within me. They kicked and squirmed, I winced in shock, making Sesshomaru sit up in worry. I squinted my eyes, feeling a bit of pain and Sesshomaru took my hand in his.
"Sonya...open your eyes...I want you to look at me." It was an order. He wasn't asking. He was telling. I sucked it up and opened my eyes, gazing into the luscious, twinkling eyes of his. They way he was looking at me...made my face fluster.
"It's alright...im here Sonya, you don't have to be afraid..."
He didn't understand that even with Tenseiga...I was still afraid. I thought about all the outcomes. I could lose the pup or pups or I'll die before they're born. And even though Tenseiga could bring me back, I wasn't sure about the pups. But I had to be strong....for him....for us....for them....
"I can hear them...." he whispered, perking his ears. I noticed as his lips curved at the end, turning into a smile. "You weren't wrong...." He said, lying am back down on my belly.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused
"There's two of them....I can hear three heartbeats. Yours and theirs." My eyes widened.
"Really! Are you serious!?"
"I'm being very serious..how did you know that there were going to be two of them?"
His question, made my stomach twist and turn. If there truly was two pups inside me, then the dream..the one I had so long ago. Could it be real? The nightmare that tortured me so much, was it reality? If it was true, then that would mean that I saw the future. That was our future? I remember being so scared and helpless. I didn't want to go through that! The dream was already traumatizing. I feared for them, for Sesshomaru. Tears welled up in my eyes and hid my face in my hands.
"Sonya...what is the matter? Aren't you satisfied with the out come?"
"Believe me...I am...it's just...I didn't just guess that there would be two. I foresaw it. In one of my nightmares. I fear that if the twins are real then so is the dream. I don't want to face the darkness!"
"You wont."
"I'm scared for all of us. Whatever's coming isn't going to be good. For any of us. Someone wants us dead and our pups!" I cried into his chest. He wrapped his strong arms around me, trying his best to comfort me.
"Shhh...nobody's going to hurt you."
I seriously hope that that dream wasn't real.
"I will die of anything happens to you or the pups." He said gingerly, whipping my tears away and lifting my chin so I could look up at him. "Please don't cry anymore, my sweet Sonya." I nodded as he planted a kiss on my forehead. "If it will help, I'll put more guards out..." he suggested, standing up. I nodded and he was on his way. I smiled knowing I had someone like him who loves me so much.
My mind snapped knowing I promised to keep in touch with Koga and Izayoi. So I swirled around and walked over to Sesshomaru's study. Grabbing some paper, ink and a feather, I was on my way back to the room.
As I walked out the door, I felt one of the twins kick again, really hard to. It was really painful this time. I dropped the ink bottle and it spilled everywhere.
"Oh crud...I made a mess." I mentally slapped myself for being so idiotic. I bent down to clean it up. "Beep Beep Beep! Pregnant lady coming in for a landing!" I joked kneeling down and whipping it up.
One of the maids passed me by and rushed to my aid.
"My Lady! You shouldn't be bending over as such!" She gasped "here let me help you." The kind lady kneeled down next to me and helped me clean it.
"Thank you so much for your help." I sighed
"You must be careful My Lady, in the condition your in, you should be in bed resting."
"Pssh. Nonsense. I'll be fine!" I shrugged it off.
"I was just on my way to find you..."
"Really? Why?"
"The prisoner wishes for your presence." I rolled my eyes. What does he want. There's no way I'm gonna go back to see that stinky low life-
"He says it's about your pups..I had no idea you were having pups! Congrats!" she chimed
I tried to share in her enthusiasm, but I couldn't help but be a bit disturbed. How did he know about the twins? If he already knows about them....then who else knows?! He could be ratting us out! My heart skipped a few beats and I bolted towards the dungeons.
"Thanks again for your help!" I called back to the maid as I power waked through the halls. Geez carrying all this weight is not easy!
When I made it to the door, there weren't any guards on patrol. Weird. Okay here's my chance. I zoomed in and walked up to Eron's cell.
"Ahh why if it isn't Sonya...."
"It's Lady Sonya to you." I sneered "what do you want?!"
"Haha you've finally shaken things up with the Lord of the West. Haven't you?" He snickered, staring at my belly
"Oh how could you tell?" I sarcastically shot back at him. Seeing as there's a huge lump sticking out of me. How could you miss it?
"I wanted to tell you that an evil is coming." He whispered
"How did you know I was having twins!?" I yelled
"It's obvious, everyone knew before you did."
"How?"
"That information is classified."
"Tell me!"
He stayed quiet and stared. He was really pissing me off. Real quick too. I sighed, giving up on that subject.
"What did you mean by an evil is coming?"
He didn't answer. And that set me off real quick.
"Listen up! If you do anything to harm me or my family, I will personally rip your arms out, and shove them down your throat!" Pregnancy rage, never fails. I would do it right now too, if I wasn't pregnant. I turned on my heels and stomped out of there.
When I made it back to my bedroom, I sat down and began writing my letters to Koga and Izayoi, just as I promised. Just then, Eve came running in the room and hopped into my lap.
"Hello Eve, where've you been?" I asked petting her soft little head. She propped her tiny paws up against my belly, wondering what it was. "don't worry Eve. We'll be alright....I hope." I said getting up and walking outside to the messenger Hawks. I tied the letters to their little carriers and I sent them on their merry way. I watched as each hawk flew in different directions.
I sighed, knowing we had a real problem on our hands. If this 'evil' was actually coming, would we be prepared?

Ara's POV

"My Lady...we've come to some minor complications." One of the councilmen announced. My blood boiled. What now!?
"What is it?"
"It seems that Lady Sonya knows you're going to take her child." This made my blood simmer
"How!?" I roared
"We don't know..."
"We'll find them and execute them at once!" I ordered
"Yes your majesty."
Ugh, they had one job and they screwed it up. Do I have to do everything myself!?
Well at least my plan is rolling along smoothly. So far. I would have thought to be discovered by now. But I still have my chances. Sesshomaru will suffer and his wife will burn in hell. and I will
