Chapter 11: Give it a try

Nikki Pov.

It's been about 45 minutes of awkward silence between the four of us. We have already finished our dinner and there was a little bit of light conversation between Kelly and Felix but other than that it's been awkward and silence.

Hyunjin hasn't looked at me onces since what happened earlier and I don't really know why it actually upset me so much, maybe it's just the air. The tension is thick enough to choke on and I couldn't take it anymore so I got up cleared my throat and walked to the door.

"I'm going for a walk I need fresh air." 

As I'm leaving the building and start making my way down the street with the fresh air filling my lungs and the light breeze cooling down my heated skin someone grabs my wrist and pulls me back.

Now for everyone that knows me well enough knows that it's a bad Idea to sneak up on me neither the less to grab my out of the blue so in my defence he asked for it.

Without even looked at who it is I grab there wrist in return and twist it along with his arm and pinned it against his back in a swift and painful way. One wrong move and I could dislocate his shoulder and wrist.

"Ow ow oww, please let go!" Hyunjin cried out.

I let him go after realising what I did. "What the hell!? I could have hurt you, why did you grab me like that?"

"Sorry I just wanted to stop you, you were walking so fast I had to run just to catch up."

"What are you doing here Hyunjin?" I wasn't in the mood to play around right now and if I had a slipper on me I'd throw him. He couldn't even look at me 10 minutes ago and now he thinks he can just grab me out of the blue like that.

"I wanted to talk to you...and it's dangerous for you to walk around like this, alone at night."

"I can take care if myself."

"Yeah I noticed." He rubs his arm and smiles at me.

"Hyunjin please just go back I need to be alone-"

"Did you mean it?" He cut me off before I could finish my sentence.

"I...I don't know." I couldn't tell him because I didn't want to make it even more awkward between us then it already was but at the rate it's going that might not go according to plan.

"Well.." he sighs and rubs his hands together. "I did mean what I said."

To say I was surprised was an understatement. It wasn't like always where we would be sarcastic or playfully fight, this was serious. He looked serious.

"I...Uhm...I." I didn't know what to say, my words weren't wording at all.

"Look we can pretend it never even happened but I don't want that. If you want to do it that way I'll respect it but I would rather just talk to you about it."

Woah what the hell! Since when is he ever serious, but right now there is no sarcastic tome no playfulness just seriousness and sincerity.

I don't know how long we stood there just staring at eachother. Me taken aback by his forwardness and seriousness and him just staring at me waiting for me to reply to him.

"Alright..." I didn't even realise I spoke up until he took a step closer to me.

"Alright what?"

"Alright... let's talk then."

We walked to the park that was about 5 minutes away from there dorm room and sat down on 2 of the swings. 

"Well?"
