Chapter 27-Surprises and apologies

Two weeks in University and Kayleigh is finally settled in and is use to the Uni life away from her pack.

Her and Lou are both studying to be nurses, therefore, they became good friends since they are in the same classes.

They both have a good work ethic, studying hard, and doing their own research in the library whenever they have any free time.

Lou's parents expect nothing but the best from their Omega daughter, so that leaves her too busy to party, making sure she passes all her classes.

Kayleigh is too focuses on her studies to worry about any frat party even though she has been invited to many.

It was Friday night, and the two Omega's had just finished studying at the library and decided to head home for much needed food.

As they were walking back towards the dorms, Makato greets them. He is smiling at his mate.

"Hey beautiful." The Alpha says as he takes her hand. "Hey "Ato" Lou says using her pet name for her mate.

"Hey Kayleigh, do you mind if I steal my mate tonight?" Makato grins at the Omega.

"Not at all." Kayleigh smiles back as the pair say their goodbyes and head in another direction.

Kayleigh sighs as she walks the rest of the way to her dorm alone....or is she?

Upon coming to her door, she is greeted by a familiar scent. Smiling Kayleigh opens her door and is jumped by her best friend Lilly.

"Oh my god, Lilly what are you doing here? Kayleigh says giving her a hug back.

"I thought that I'd surprise you and visit you. I hope that's okay? Lily asks worried she might have overstepped.

"Of course its okay!" God, I missed you. Kayleigh smiles.

They decided to order takeaway a pizza and catch up with some Netflix.

"So, hows college life treating you?" Lilly asks between bites of her pizza.

Kayleigh swallows the bite of pizza before answering. "It's definitely different from high school, and I miss my friends, family, and pack!

"Well, you're not missing much at home." Lilly laughs.

The two Omega's continue catching up making small talk about the last two weeks. Kayleigh tells Lilly about her roommate, Lou, and how they are both studying to be nurses.

Lilly listens to her friend smiling as she tells her about her studies.

"What?" Kayleigh asks her friend, feeling a little self-conscious. Lilly shakes her head while blushing.

"Nothing. I didn't realise how much I had missed you. And how beautiful you are."

Its Kayleighs turn to now blush as her friend compliments her. "I missed you too Lils." Kayleigh says, leaning closer towards her friend. Lilly closes the gap as their lips come together in a soft kiss.

The kiss started off sweet, but quickly turned needy. Their hands began to undress each other as their kissing gets more heated.

After a few minutes the Omega's were on the couch in just their underwear when all of a sudden the door burst open.

A surprised Lou enters the room and immediately apologizes. "Ohhh, I am so so sorry." Lou covers her eyes as she heads to her bed.

Lilly and Kayleigh laugh as they get dressed. "Lou, its okay. We are dressed now." Kayleigh says.

Lou blushes as she apologises again. "If I'd known, I would have had waited to come in."

"Honestly Lou, it's okay. I want you to meet one of my best friends, Lilly. "

"Ahh, friends with benefits. " Lou smirks.

"Yeah, something like that. " Kayleigh laughs.
