Kayleigh says goodbye to Lilly and makes her way back to her dorm where Lou is waiting.

"I like her." Lou smirks.

"I'm not surprised, Lilly is amazing." Kayleigh grins back at her roommate.

"But...what happens when one of you find their mate?" Lou genuinely ask with concern in her voice.

Kayleigh sits down on the couch and thinks for a moment before she answers. "Honestly, I don't know.

I think Lilly would want to reject her mate to be with me, but I don't know that I could do that. I heard bad stories about rejecting your mate.

If you reject your mate, it quite literally breaks your heart, and you both slowly die."

"My parents told me similar stories too growing up and how rejecting your mate is disrespectful to the moong goddess hence why you slowly die because she is punishing you."

"Have you ever heard of second chance mate before?" Kayleigh asks. Lou tilts her head to the side, "Yeah, but that is so rare."

"I know, but if there's a chance that Lilly and I could be second chance mates..." Lou cuts Kayleigh off. "That's not how second chance mates works. You will only be given a second chance mate in rare circumstances. Like, if your mate dies within a short period of time of becoming mates."

"God, couldn't let me have hope, could you?" Kayleigh half jokes, but is sad non the less.

"Hey, you'll find your mate soon. Besides, you only just turned eighteen, right? So, you have plenty of time. There's a frat party next Friday you should come, you mind find your mate." Lou teases.

"Yeah, sure, what do I have to lose." Kayleigh sighs as she lays back onto her bed.

Friday rolls by in no time, and Kayleigh finds herself entering yet another frat party.

She decided to put on her favourite pair of tight blue jeans and a red snug crop t-shirt with a pair of canvas shoes, Kayleigh had her hair down and applied light makeup.

Kayleigh arrives with Lou by her side they enter the house and head to the kitchen to grab a drink when they see a game of beer bong playing.

They watch for a few games, drinking their drinks and socialising. Lou wonders off to go dance with some guy and leaves Kayleigh to play a game of beer pong.

The game was just getting good, Kayleigh was winning, although she had already drunk three cups of mixed alcohol when she stopped in her tracks, scenting the air.

Her wolf begins to go crazy inside her, howling and pacing back and forth itching to get out.

While distracted, Kayleigh messes up and ends up drinking another two cups.

The scent was getting stronger, her heart began to beat faster, pounding against her chest as she looks around for the source of the scent, but not finding it she tries to focus on her game of beer pong.

Dylan returned back to the university a few days ago and decided to attend the frat party with some friends.

When they enter his wolf begins to go crazy and Dylan had to fight him to keep in control. Dylan didn't understand until he caught one of the most alluring scents.

Looking around frantically trying to find the scent in the crowded house his wolf going crazy.

Dylan growls as he pushes past people trying to find the scent when a big breasted Omega tries to stop Dylan flaunting her breast at him .

Normally, the Alpha would engage in the Omega, but he was on a mission, and she was stopping him.

Dylan turns to the Omega, letting out a warning growl as he shrugs her hands off of his biceps.

The startled Omega pulls back wide eye. Ignoring her, Dylan continues to make his way into another room where the beer ping pong games are.

The Alpha stops in his tracks his breath hitches, heart pounding heavy against his chest.

Dylan's mouth goes dry from the growling. The Alpha didn't realise that he was doing as he stared at the most beautiful woman playing beer ping pong at a table.

Dylan growls...."mate"
