Percy was unsure about how he felt about being a baby again.
For starters, it was a new experience, even more so with a sibling. He didn't know how to feel about the breastfeeding and the diaper change yet, considering it was very embarrassing for the baby that had the mentality of an adult.
Yet there were some things that made it worth it.
Like how he was able to make it easier for his mother to be able to take care of him this time around. He saw how she was glad that they were quiet babies and how well rested she looked made him happier considering the amount of stress he brought his mother in his previous life.
Then there was also the fact that his father was more involved in this life, with him visiting as often as he could, taking care of them so their mother could have a few more hours of sleep, and cooking for her so that she did not overexert herself.
It was moments like these that made him see the love between his parents that his mother told him about. To see why so many people fell for the Sea God.
Despite all this, he still did not know how to feel about his sister.
She was a person that he did not know anything about, and even if he was a kid with ADHD as his companion, he was anxious about this unknown entity, how it could change the future he knew of and what it could mean for his place in this future.
Regardless of his reservations, he had grown attached to Rhea.
She was quiet as the sea on a starless night and her giggles sounded like the soft waves of sea that hit the shore. She was active and very attached to him as well.
Maybe this is what it meant to have a twin, or siblings in general.
So maybe it made sense why every night as he slept, he couldn't sleep without being close to her. It helped him stop the raging waves that went through his body whenever he wasn't near her, cuddling even if they were sleeping before being put together in their shared bassinet.
A pair of hands coming to pick him up made him pause his thinking, making him look up at the same colour of eyes that he had, just the face had a black beard that made Percy want to fist it up and pull it. So he did.
Relishing the deep laugh of his father, he gave him a toothless gummy smile, pulling at the beard again, suddenly fascinated by it.

Poseidon walked over to sit in the rocking chair he had gotten Sally, holding his son in his arms.
He watched fondly as Percy played with his beard, watching it in fascination.
It was nearly 2:00 am, having changed the kids diapers half an hour ago. Rhea had slept as soon as she was put in the bassinet, curling as close to her brother while being wrapped in a swaddle.
He had watched them for a few moments, after seeing that Percy was about to fall asleep, he went to make sure Sally was sleeping, and after seeing her still washing dishes even when she was tired, he coaxed her into bed before washing them himself.
After seeing all the work was done, he had gone back to check on the kids, only to see his son lost in his own thoughts and fighting sleep.
Now he just held his son in his arms, sitting in the rocking chair to see if he would fall asleep soon so as to not mess up his sleep cycle.
It took him approximately a minute and a half to realise that Percy was exactly like his mother in his habit of trying to evade sleep. Starting to hum an Atlantic lullaby, slowly pulling him into a peaceful sleep within five minutes.
Poseidon smiled again as he carried his son back to the bassinet, watching him curling close to his sister subconsciously as Poseidon gently wrapped him in his swaddle.
Seeing his children sleeping so peacefully, a wave of self-hatred hit him for the fate he brought upon them by siring them, for the hardships they would have to face for him falling in love with their mother.
But deep down he knew that despite everything, he would never regret having them with Sally, and neither would she.
And that soothed the tsunami in his heart, knowing that they are the living proof of his love for their mother.
And that made him feel a bit better.
