Many days had passed, since Jimmy last saw Scott.

He was growing worried for his boyfriend.

And Gem grew concerned for her friend.

Since Jimmy and Scott's last conversation, Scott changed.

"He isn't leaving Rivendell often." Jimmy said.

"And... He's acting out slightly aggressively..." Gem added.

Scott had been lashing out, at everyone.

"But why?" Jimmy asked.

"Unfortunately, I don't know." Gem said.

As the two spoke, a slightly upset and distressed Katherine flew down.

"Why is Scott being so mean?" She cried.

Gem immediately hugged the Overgrown's protector and Queen.

"I wish we knew..." Gem whispered.

"Well, we have to get him back to normal!" Katherine demanded.

"We will, we... I just need time to figure this out." Gem said. Jimmy walked over to the two girls.

"I... I think it could be Xornoth." He said.

"It's a possibility..." Gem added.

They fell in silence, as Gem thought.

"I'm going to check in the Crystal Cliff's school of Magic. Surely something might be there." Gem said, after a couple minutes.

Jimmy and Katherine nodded, as Gem flew away.

Katherine decided to visit Scott, to check how he was doing.

After all, no one had seen Scott since the Rivendell Festival.

"Hey, Scott?" She called out.

Scott emerged from the Stag Statue, in Rivendell.

"What do you want?" He demanded. Katherine was taken aback.

"I was just checking to see how you are." She said, calmly.

Scott jumped down, allowing Katherine to see him properly.

His eyes.

They were slowly turning from the icy blue they originally was, to red.

"I don't need everyone checking on me, you know." Scott said, quite snappy, and aggressive.

"We're just worried... We're your friends." Katherine said.

"I don't need you!" Scott said, loudly and aggressively.

Katherine took a step back, as tears formed in her eyes.

"I... I'm sorry." The Queen of the Overgrown said, before flying away.

Scott watched her fly.

Katherine! No! I didn't mean it! He thought.

Well, you've said what you've said. The voice in his head said.

"Go away, Xornoth... Your making me push my friends away!" Scott said, before walking into his house.

He had to end this.
