Sora and Lyric's plane lands after a whole 13 hour flight from Paldea, as the two arrive in Johto, the closest area to Kitakami, then had to hop onto a bus for another 2 hour trip through the country side. As they traveled, Lyric took pictures of everything. The lush green farmland, dark forests, the cliffs and valleys, until they finally arrived at a bus stop on the outskirts of a small village. Once they step off, Lyric does some quiet stretches, and turns to Sora.
Lyric: So this is Kitakami... it's beautiful...!
Sora: Just up the road is Mossui town. It's where I grew up. It's not much, but it's a good place.
Lyric: Let's get going then. After all that travel, I'm as tired as an old Stoutland.
Sora: Sure. I'll lead the way.
The two started their walk, which was only ten minutes from the bus stop, and look around.
Sora: Hm. Guess they made some renovations since I was last here. Though, that was a while ago now...
Lyric: Ahaha...! It's really nice here...!
Sora takes Lyric to the center of the small town, as an elderly man jogs up to them. His focused expression soon changed to one of surprise, as he smiled.
Caretaker: Well, do my eyes deceive me, or is that little Sora?
Sora: Hello sir. Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, it's me.
Caretaker: Goodness, I haven't seen you since you were a wee lad.
Sora: Nine years, to be more precise.
Caretaker: Hahaha! Right you are. Time feels so slow in this quiet little town of our, it felt like you were gone for ages. So, have you become a Pokémon trainer?
Sora: Sure have. Sir, this is my partner, Fast the Pincurchin.
Sora leans his head down as Fast makes a cute little noise and wiggles his spines around.
Caretaker: Ahaha! You've gone and made it big, yet you came all the way here? We're touched.
Sora: It's just a bit of a vacation. Is the town center still running as an inn?
Caretaker: Sure is. But why not stay at your old home? I'm sure your grandparents must miss you deeply.
Sora: Hm. That's not a bad idea. Alright, I think we'll do just that.
After having his catch up conversation with the Caretaker of Mossui town, Sora leads Lyric out to the west of Mossui, to a small apple orchard owned by his family.
Sora: Nan! Pops!
The young man calls as he waves, getting the attention of an old couple.
Nan: My goodness, is that you, Sora?
Pops: Who else would call us Nan and Pops, dear? Oh? And who might that be?
Sora: This is my partner buddy, Lyric. He's a Pokémon Coordinator.
Pops: Coordinator...? Does she make maps?
???: No, Pops. Coordinators are like performers. They put on big shows with their Pokémon.
Pops: Oh, is that so? Well that's nice. Thank you for telling me, Seina
Sora: Oh, you're here too?
Seina: Yup. Nan and Pops are getting up in the years, so dad had me come take over the orchard.
Lyric: Who's that...?
Lyric tilts his head and observes Seina head to toe. She was a beautiful young woman, probably around the same age as Sora was. She had soft, navy blue hair like him as well. Her eyes were chestnut brown, and she wore a white undershirt with denim overalls over that shirt. She wore some tight skinny jeans, and a pair of brown leather boots with quite the heel on each of them. He narrowed his eyes, as if he was a bit jealous.
