Chapter 25 : The Labyrinth

A/N : The fourth book, one of the best, Percy blow up a volcano.

Annabeth POV :

I realized after Percy saved me this winter that I have feelings for him. After that, Clarisse and I studied the Labyrinth. I was reading a book about it when Mister D. walked nearby talking with someone. I looked up and saw Percy, he was a lot taller than before and was more hadsome. I shook my head and got up.

"Hi Percy !" He looked at me.

"Oh. Hi Annabeth I didn't see you." I said before walking toward Grover. I sighed, he is so oblivious but I am not I know that he loves me.

I discovered an entry of the Labyrinth in camp, Chiron told me to go see the oracle who gave me this prophetie :

You shall delve in the darkness of the endless maze,

The dead, the traitor, and the lost one raise.

You shall rise or fall by the ghost king's hand,

The Child of Athena's final stand.

Destroy with a hero's final breath,

 And lose a love to worse than death.

I have a plan. I'll tell Percy the prophecy and he will think I'm going to die so he will tell me his feelings and we will date.

Percy POV :

After Annabeth went to the Oracle I went in the arena and talked to Quintus. I will admit I interogated him because of his guilty eyes and because of his Perdrix tatoo that remind me of a hero.

"So Quintus, who's your godly parent again ?"

"Athena."

"So Daedalus how life has been the past milenia."

"How ?"

"I'm not as stupid as people say." I simply stated. He smiled.

"If you are ever in danger call Mrs. O' Leary, she'll come save you."

"Thanks dude." I said before leaving, I was at the door when I turned around and said : "It's not your fault your son died and I'm sure your nephew forgave you." I ran toward my cabin to take a nap.

Annabeth POV :

I chose Grover, Tyson and Percy for the quest. My plan didn't go as planed but I got a new one. We were separate from Grover and Tyson a few minutes ago and were now in a volcano and Percy just asked me to tell Hephaistos what was happening in his forge. I tried to kiss him but he pushed me away and glared at me. I put on my cap and went out of the volcano.

Percy POV :

Annabeth tried to kiss me. Disgusting I know. I went back into the forge and the Telchines attacked me. I tried to use my powers and suddenly a huge earthshke made the volcano exploded and I was sent flying to an unknown detination. I blacked out.

A/N : And Percy died. Nah just kidding.
