Chapter 30 : Manhattan battle part 1

A/N : One minute of silence for Beckendorf.

Percy POV :

I was on a beach named Montauk beach waiting for Beckendorf to come. We had a plan to exterminate the Princess Andromeda, Luke boat. Then I saw Beckendorf approach on Blackjack.

"Hey Percy !"

"How are you Beckendorf ?"

"I'm good. Come on we can't waste time." I went on Blackjack. We flew for an hour before we saw the Princess Andromeda. Beckendorf looked at a picture of his girlfriend, Silena.

"You'll see her again." I said. He nodded. We went on the the lowest stern deck and I told Blackjack to go back to camp. We went to the engine room and killed the Telchines there. We installed the greek fire bomb everywhere. Then we heard siomething.

"How much time ?" I asked.

"Too long."

"I'll distract them."

"Percy-"

"Met you at the rendez-vous point !"

I went out of the engine room and to the stern deck above. I fought monsters and monsters until I was on the heighter stern desk. Kronos was here. We fought and I saw that he beared the Achille curse. Then we stop fighting.

"Lord Kronos, we found this one trying to go to the engine room." A monster said holding Beckendorf. Kronos smirked.

"Now, what are you going to do Jackson." Beckendorf looked at me.

'I'll make the boat explod.' He mouthed me. 'Go away, stay alive.'

He saw that I didn't want to move. He gave me a sad smile and pressed the button and I was falling in the water consumed by flame.

When I wake up Tyson was carrying me.

"Tyson let me go."

"No, brother is hurt."

"They can heal me at camp. Please Tyson."

"Tyson let him go." A voice said. I looked up. Tyson let me go and swam away.

"Triton, heir of the see." I stated.

"Percy Jackson." i looked him in the eyes.

"Perseus Fleamont Potter is my real name." He smiled at me.

"I know."

"How ?"

"I looked over you when you were a kid, sometime kicking your bullies ass."

"You're a real big bro'."

"Thanks. Before you go, you should know that the only thing keeping you concious is the water once you'll get out you will only be able to walk a few meters before blacking out."

"Ok. See you !" I swam away.

When I approach camp I senced a few people on the beach. I got out of the water and started to walk. The last thing I saw before blacking out was Will Solace and Micheal Yew worried face.

I woke up in a bed in the infirmary. I looked around and saw that there apparently was no one.

"Get out of the shadows Nico."

"What happened ?"

"We were caught, Beckendorf made the boat explod when we were still on."

"How did you survive ?"

"I don't really know, when I woke up Tyson was carying me."

"Did you faught Kronos ?"

"Yes, we need to execute your plan."

"Good. I already have all the information needed, you need your mom blessing."

"Percy you're awake ?" We turned around to see Grover and Chiron standing in the doorway.

"You need to tell us the story my boy." Chiron said.

A few hours later, every cabin councelor were gathered around the Ping-Pong table. Ready to hear the story and the Great Prophecy.

"Percy where is Charlie ?" Silena asked.

"I'll start with the begining of the mission. We went on board and start placing the Greek Fire bombs. We heard some monsters so I went out to make a diversion and let Beckendorf finished. I fought Kronos but then some monsters came holding Beckendorf. He let me know he was going to destroyed the ship and that I should go but-.

"But you stayed. You weren't going to abandon him and you got mortaly hurt but you survived." Micheal finished.

"I woke a few hours after, Tyson was carying me. I had a nice conversation with my godly brother Triton."

"Are you sarcastic  ?" Travis asked.

"No."

"Your godly half-brother who is the son of your father's wife was nice with you." Connor said.

"More like brotherly."

"Okay kids stop question now. Percy, the Great Prophecy please."

"Yes Chiron. A half-blood of the eldest god, shall reach sixteen against all odds."

My blood froze when I read he next line. I hesitated.

"And see the world in endless sleep, The hero soul, cursed blade shall reaped."

My mouth felt like it was full of sand, but I spoke the last two lines.

"A single choice shall end his days. Olympus to preserve or raze."

The room was silent until Connor spoke. "Raise is good isn't it ?"

"Raze not raise Connor." His brother told him.

"Oh. Does that mean that Percy is going to die ?" Everyone looked at me.

"Don't worry for me, I'm not easy to kill but let's move on, we've got a spy."

"It can be one of Luke old friend." Clarisse said.

"Or one of his siblings." Annabeth said.

"It can be nearly everyone." Travis protested.

"It's nt the moment to argue." I shouted passing into leader mode.

"The gods left Olympus without defense when they all went to fight Typhon except my father who has is own war and Demeter who is probably with Hades and Persephone in the underworld." I began. "There's a chance that Kronos takes advantage of the absence of the gods to attack Olympus. I will go with Nico to try to convince Lord Hades to fight with us. I want all of you at the Empire State Buiding tomorow."

"Ares won't come." Clarise snarled.

"What ! Why ?"

"We won't come unless the Apollo gave us the chariot."

"It's ours !" Micheal yelled.

"No it's not !"

"For the last time Clarisse the chariot is the Apollo cabin trophee." Chiron said exasparated.

"Well then you can forget the help of the Ares cabin." I sighed, it's going to be a long evening.
