Chapter 36 : Battle

Percy POV :

We were surrounded by the Giants, they all had a smirk on their ugly face. I looked at my friends, they seemed a little afraid.

"You will die by our hands demigods ! And we will wake up our mother and send the gods in Tartarus so our father can torture them." Porphyrion said. I chuckled and everyone looked at me. I open my bag get out Tartarus head and said.

"How can the gods be tortured by someone who lost his head ?" The Giant near me took a step back.

"Impossible..." Polibotes said.

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible." I said grinning. I raised Riptide and ran toward the Giants. I know I can't kill them without a god but I can buy time. The others followed me and attacked the Giants. A few minutes later the gods came to help us. I was fighting Polybites and Gration at the same time.

"Need help ?" I heard a voice behind me. I smiled at Artemis as she shot an arrow in Gration head killing him. (I had my sword into his eye.)

"Thank you milady." She glared at me and I chuckled.

"I'm still here !" Polibotes said charging me so I cut off his head. I looked around, dad was helping Jason and unce Zeus with Porphyrion, Athena and Annabeth were fighting Enceladus, Hazel and Hades were fighting Alcyoneus etc.

"Let's help Hermes. He doesn't have any demigod with him."

"There's other gods without any demigod to help them !" She protest. I pecked her on the cheek when no one was watching.

"Go help them I'll join you later."

I took my sword out of the last Giant when I heard a cry of pain. Jason and Annabeth had been hit by a monster. Blood fell on the ground and a voice began speaking as the earth shook.

"Finaly awake ! I will destroy your camp demigods !" Gaia said.

"I could slap you back to long island." Zeus glowered.

"Um, was that a joke, a threat, or..." Leo asked.

"No." Zeus said. "I mean it quite litteraly. I could slap your ship back to camp half-blood but the force involve-"

"My boy Leo build a good ship but it won't sustain this kind of stress. It would break apart as soon as it arrived, maybe sooner." Hephaistos said. "Dangerous, perhaps fatal."

"We can do this, we have to do this guys." Leo said. I looked at him. An oath to keep with a final breath.

"Leo is right." I said. "All aboard for one last trip."

Zeus grew a hundred feet tall and threw the Argo II toward Long Island. When the camp came in view, I yelled.

"Jump !" Frank took Hazel and Annabeth with him and changed into a dragon before flying toward the battle, Jason took Piper and tried to make Leo come with him but he refused so he used the wind to join the others, Leo jumped on Festus and I jumped from the destroyed ship. I was hided by the smoke cloud but I could see everyone.

They had stop fighting and watched the explosion in horror as the seven except me shouted my name. I watched as they let their weapons fall and they began to cry. I chuckled and summoned water to move behind them and create and made a wave crash on them when I land.

"So now that everyone calmed down. We have a primordial deart face to bring back to sleep." I said smirking.

"You're alive." Nico said shocked.

"No, shit."

"You can't kill me stupid mortals !"  Gaia yelled.

"We can win if we fight together !" Piper yelled using charmspeak.

"The whole earth is my body !" Gaia boomed. "How would you fight the goddess of-"

I had threw my sword into her stomach. In a flash of bronze, Gaia was swept off ghe hillside snarled in the claws of a fifty ton metal dragon. Festus rose in the sky, Leo on his back.

"Jason, Piper ! The fight his up here." The elf yelled.

I looked up while the others fight the monsters which appeared. Jason, Piper and Leo were fighting Gaia when suddenly Jason and Piper began falling and Leo covered himself and Gaia in flames. That's when Octavian on a flaming ball hit Gaia. I used the opposite magic to that of my sword to make myself appear at its location. I saw Festus giving Leo the philosophian cure and grabbed my sword.

"I AM STILL ALIVE ! THE FIRE MAKER DIE !" She yelled.

"But Leo didn't die for nothing." I said smirking at her face.

"JACKSON !"

"You will go back to sleep Gaia." I said.

"YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME ! I AM ETERNAL ! FOOLISH DEMIGOD !" I got out my wand and pointed it at Gaia's head.

"Ad sompnium suum excitata dea redeat, quae ad dominium Morphei redit, et maledicta in Hypno regno perpetuo mansura. Gaia, terra dea, te sine fine redit ad somnum tuum!" I said and a white beam of light came from my wand and hit Gaia who crumbled in dust. And I started falling.

"I got you Percy !" Frank said and I got grab by a giant eagle.

"Thanks Frank !"

"Nah, thank you you defeated Gaia."
