Chapter 8 : A demigod

A/N : Percy lost his grandparents. That's so sad. 😭🤧

Percy POV :

Even if it was the first time I go to a muggle middle school I was pretty sure that teacher changing into weird thing who look like a monster and trying to kill you are not normal.

And teacher giving you a pen which change into a sword so you can kill the other teacher isn't normal too. Especially when after that, people start looking at you weirdly when you say the dead teacher name.

You want me to explain ? Okay.

'Flashback'

My class was going to the museum with two of our teacher : Mrs. Dodds and Mr. Brunner. During lunch, Nancy Bobofit bullied my new friend Grover. I got angry and weirdly the water from the fountains grabed her and pull her in. But it couldn't be me my wand was home.

So Mrs. Dodds took me inside the museum. She then changed into this creepy thing and Mr. Brunner throw me his pen and when I uncappped it, it changed in a sword. I killed Mrs. Dodds who explods in gold dust.

When I came back outside Nancy said something about a Mrs. Kerr.

'End of Flashback'

I got expelled from the academy at the end of the year. Grover and I went back to New York together. On the way we saw three old woman cutting a sock. When he saw that Grover panicked. He wanted to come home with me so when he went to the toilet I went home alone.

Now, Mom took me to the beach. It's called Montauk beach. She took me there because James was spending the summer with Lily (Yes they start dating). She told me she met my dad here.

"Mom ?"

"Yes Percy ?"

"At the muggle school-" I was interupted by a knock on the door. We barely heard it because there was a storm outside. Mom opened the door and Grover entered. But Grover didn't have any pants and his legs, well, he had goats legs.

"Miss Jackson (the fake name I used at the muggle school) we need to go now."

"Where are we going Grover ? And why do you have goat leg."

"We'll tell you in the car Percy. Now come."

We got in the car and mom began to drive towards ... Wherever we're going.

"Percy. You remember all those greek story I told you about gods, monsters and heroes ?"

"Yes."

"They are real. You are a demigod, you're father is a god. But before you get angry, I need to tell you that the gods must obbey some rule called the ancient law. One of this law forbid them from interacting with their children."

"Who is my father ?"

"Your father, he is really important. You know who is. Think Percy." I began to think when I heard something which sound like a cow. A really loud cow. I looked behind us and saw something half-bull, half-human.

"Is that the Minotaur ?" A lighting struck the car and send it on the side. Grover used is legs to break the door. We went out and began to ran up the hill I hadn't saw.

"We need to get inside ! Once we reach the top we'll be safe !" Grover told us. The Minotaur growled. He smelled the car and turned toward me.

"Percy ! Go inside he is after you !" Mom said. Helping Grover to walk because he wounded his leg.

"Not without you two."

"Perseus !"

"Fine." I began to run toward the top of the hill my mom and Grover behind me. We had nearly reached the top when the Minotaur charged my mom and grab her. She disapeared into light. I was furious. I jumped on the Minotaur head, grab one of his horn and broke it. I used the horn to pierc his stomach. He exploded in gold dust. I took Grover who had passed out and carried him down the hill toward an house. At the door were two people Mr. Brunner and a blond girl.

"My mom. Minotaur. Lighting. Grover is hurt. Feel weird." And I black out.
