I went to see Mr. Herrańo waiting by his car for me. I walked up to him with my gracious self and slightly nodded as a greeting.

"Ms. Katz, I know we were given a week to discuss but I can't wait." The old man chuckled. "Your presentation and speech were promising and judging so far, you've been nothing but a success. I'd like to initate our collaboration right away."

I wanted to gasp and show my giddy excitement but I wasn't raised like that.

Instead, I put out my hand for a shake with a curt nod.

"It'd be an honor to work with you, Mr. Herrańo."

He laughed heartily, like a rich, happy, old man, and shook my hand.

"I like how you mean business. It'd be a pleasure." His thumb went over my hand for a couple second before I retreated it.

I watched by the sideline as he got in his car and waved through the window, still smiling and eyes sparkling as his car was driven out of my property.

It's only a matter of time before I'd wipe that nasty smile off his face.

"Congratulations, Boss." Elena smiled when I returned and I nodded at her as a thank you.

I didn't like to speak much with people who were not Daryian.

Speaking of him, where was he?

We needed to celebrate this victory. He had been the greatest help for the past two months, preparing me for this. He deserved rewards, and also we haven't gotten to spend some time together since we became official.

"Elena, I'd be leaving for home earlier today. So, cancel any appointment that might need my attention."

"Sure, Boss."

"I'd inform Daryian myself, and he'd be also leaving with me."

Elena hesitated for a second but nodded and left my side.

I didn't care if anyone knew about us or not. If anything, I wanted to show the world that Daryian was mine.

So, if Elena had seen us earlier, I wouldn't care. But I wasn't so sure on Daryian's part. This'd be a discussion for later.

Tonight, we'd celebrate.

Daryian was in my office when I went there and he quickly hid something behind him when I entered.

I raised my brows in suspicion, smirking when he looked flustered.

An adorable puppy.

"What are you hiding there, baby?"

His eyes widened like saucers hearing the pet name and I had to stifle a snicker.

"What? Can't I use pet names for my boyfriend?"

I slowly approached. He was turning red like a tomato, I enjoyed seeing him so flushed.

"I- got you something." He mumbled and slowly brought his hands out from behind.

It revealed to be a bouquet of black roses. Saying I was impressed would be an understatement. I was mesmerized by his thought precision and choice of gift.

I wasn't a big fan of flowers, but these gorgeous ones definitely deserved some love. They matched my soul perfectly.

"They're perfect." I accepted the flowers with a smile, inhaling the scent and it was sweet.

These flowers were kinda symbolic with mine and Daryian's personalities. I liked them.

"Thanks."

He had a shy smile on his face. "You're welcome."
