Stephanie woke with a huge smile on her face, she was so excited that she could feel the adrenaline running through her. she had not seen her mum for nearly six months since she  bought the cabin in coral lake, it had always been her mother's dream to live in the place she always dreamed about and coral lake was that dream. Stephanie could still remember all the times they had been there, the beautiful scenery when you walk on the dock, the sun setting over the lake where the colours danced along the gentle waves of the water, how everything in coral lake was surrounded by peace that would put even the most erratic person in a amazing trance, but the best part was how quiet it was not like here Stephanie thought when she looked through the window. The traffic outside was none stop, even now could hear all the cars zooming past her small flat window and not to the mention the neighbours who was constantly arguing twenty four seven which was even worse "Fuck off little man you have no rights" the old woman shouted out side of Stephanie's flat. "I have no rights ha go back in hag" the man's voice was more calmer but still had that cruel sound in his tone. Stephanie's head was now leaning on her wall as she stealthily looked out the window through her net curtain, all she could think about was how quiet and peaceful it was going to be at her mothers with her little sister Stacy. Stephanie was coming out of her shower when her phone rang, it was only eight in the morning so she couldn't even think about who it could be unless it was her mum saying that she can't come down today that would be such a disappointment for her especially now she packed all of her things, she didn't really want to unpack the two suitcases that was full to the stage that Stephanie had to sit on them just to zip it closed. "Hello" she answered in her quietest voice yet, she only had a little thirty pound phone nothing fancy just a flip up phone that was a dark grey colour, nothing compared to Stacy fancy touch screen that cost her hundred and fifty pounds but still she had a great career in design. Stephanie didn't want that though all the hard work in thinking of new styles and then drawing them, then she actually has to make them, so she prefers her work in the Lion heart pub, yes it wasn't the best job in the world and yes Stephanie didn't get the best wage but at least she was working, she really wanted to have her own pub but it was hard and very expensive "Hey sis just to let you know that I will be picking you up in an hour" her sister always had that enthusiastic voice on the phone, so elegant but hyperactive at the same time, she was such an inspiration to all her people, she was only twenty four and she was already working self-employed, plus she was so beautiful with her short dark hair, those gorgeous emerald coloured eyes not to mention the hourglass figure she had going on but Stephanie didn't really envy her sister for her looks she knew she was just the same apart from the fact that she had long dark hair and black coloured eyes, they was brown but no one could tell with how dark they were, they look more like the sky at night,  dark but with the star glistering to make it beautiful. "I thought mum was picking us up" she answered "she was but something came up so I'll be taking us okay so you best get ready love ya" after this Stacy hung up, but that didn't bother Stephanie she was used to her sister but more importantly she was hyped now and ready to go so she hurried to the wardrobe and grabbed her dark jeans and bright blue top with a tiger design on the front, she turned smiled at herself in the mirror and started to get ready because in an hour she was on her way to that quiet and peaceful lake side resort.

Stephanie was pacing up and down the path outside her three storey flat, she had her blue tiger top and jeans on, with combat boots, her hair was in a tight bun in the middle of her head, she looked cosy like she was going to have a quiet night in with a cheese and pepperoni pizza and a glass of red wine but that didn't matter she didn't care how she looked she just wanted the two weeks with her mum to go slow not fast she wanted to enjoy and embrace every moment she had with her. Her sisters little red car stopped outside and beeped, Stephanie smiled at her and walked towards her sister as she got out the car, she was wearing Jean shorts with a plain black top on, she had sandal's on even though it sounded so plain, Stacy pulled it off with her golden bangles and a long gold necklace on that had her name written on it. Her mother bought that for her twenty first and she never took off since. As Stephanie walked over to her sister she wrapped her slim arms around her "Hey Stace, ready to go" she said forgetting about her luggage, her sister laughed and then looked at Stephanie dark eyes. "Not unless you want to borrow mom's flowered dresses" she joked as she walked over to the two cases on the floor "You're only bringing two?" she asked, her hair was in her face, "Why how many you bought with you?" Stephanie asked as she grabbed one of the cases and walked toward the car "Have a look" Stacy answered as she opened the boot of the car, Stephanie's mouth had droped and her eyes became saucers, the boot was almost full of pink suitcases and bags, there must have been at least three full suitcases and so many bags. "You don't need this many you know Stace we are only going for two weeks" Stephanie told her "I know but a woman needs her stuff" she giggled and then put in the last of Stephanie's suitcases in but not until she kissed Stephanie on the cheek and told her to get in the car. They were almost there and Stephanie was so eager to see her mum that she didn't stop smiling since she got in the car, she knew right now what her mother was doing, cooking the dinner they always have home-made beef stew, Stephanie's belly was already rumbling but not just that her mother would also be cleaning, getting the bedrooms ready and obviously preparing herself. Stephanie could remember the time she walked in on her in her yellow stripped pyjamas lying across the leather settee with a green face mask on and rollers, Stacy couldn't stop laughing and neither could Stephanie It was so funny the way her mother jumped up with one of the rollers falling out revealing her mother's curly light brown hair "I didn't know you would be here so soon dears" she said with her angelic soft voice, this made Stephanie and Stacy laugh harder "Mum your killing me" Stacy joked as she sat on the chair laughing harder to the stage where tears were rolling down her cheeks with her hands on her tummy indicating she had cramps in her belly from how much she was laughing but this wasn't why Stephanie was smiling so hard, she knew this time it would be better because her mother hasn't just hired a cabin she actually bought one, that was right across the lake where she was now living. As Stephanie watched the town quickly disappear all she could think about was how much she missed her mother and how much she could not wait to see her. Only a few hours and they would be there.
