Stacy didn't know why Stephanie wanted to go to the library but she didn't care, she was actually glad that she wanted to go, because it was a great excuse for her to come with her and have a look at the history of the memorable lake that her mother dreamed and loved and as much as Stacy loved her mother, she did go over bored about coming here so what did her mother love about coral lake? was it the beautiful flowing lake that made the trees look dull? Or was it the history that was behind it that Stacy knew nothing about. Even when asked her mother never mentioned anything, both her and her sister was left in the dark and until now they didn't mind not knowing or even thought about it. Stacy knew her mother liked a bit of gore and crime which Stacy never thought about before until a while ago with what happened on the dock which Stacy tried hard to forget about but even if she could it wasn't going to change the fact that it happened and the clue was there "Save us" which was on Stacy's mind all the time. Was there  more victims like her loveable mum, if they was then she needed to find out who they were, and fast. She signed herself in the one hour session on the library flat screen computer, there wasn't a lot of people around and luckily there were two empty seats, an elderly couple sat in front of her smiling and looking like two teens, the male was wearing a blue shirt with a green cardigan on with black plain trousers as the elderly woman was wearing an rosy flowered skirt with a plain pink t-shirt with a matching pale blue cardigan. Stacy thought it was cute and hoped one day that would be her, she smiled to herself then carried on with her investigation.

The first thing she did was look at the history of coral lake it looked fine to her, It started in the nineteenth century by a Lilly-Jane Coral, how ironic Stacy always thought it was named after the ocean but obviously not or maybe it was a bit of both, she read a little more and found out it was a family business and was passed down to children and obviously they got married and so the named changed and so on, the owner now was a guy called Roger Williams a man who is now a fifty six year old, who lives alone used to be married with one child but they disappeared. He changed the name back to its origin coral origin.  Stacy started to feel sorry for this guy he's all alone with no wife or child the obvious reason that they left hopefully, she didn't want to think of another scenario, she read a bit more and came across the one thing that she wanted to find. The headline read in bold writing DOUBLE MURDER IN CORAL LAKE , Stacy bit her lip as she read "A murder happened in coral lake the victims being a twenty eight year old Louise Collier and her young daughter seven year old Ruby Collier, both was brutally murdered but blunt force trauma. Louise was found dead on the living room floor while her daughter was found in a closet with the same cause of death. Policeman Derek Brown was astonished by the scene saying "Nothing like this ever happens in coral lake, especially as brutal as this, the damage to the head does not look like a one hit, it is most likely they had been attacked several times causing this scene of distress". Blood was found everywhere in the room showing the force of the hit on the young mother and child, no one was convicted of this murder due to lack of evidence and no suspects, Roger Stuart who owns coral lake says "I cannot believe this has happened in my heavenly gardens, I hope that whoever did this satanic murder will be caught quickly for my visitors". Stacy stopped reading and stared at the screen, how could this happen? She thought. She was surprised and shocked so much that a tear rolled down her cheek of the thought of how much pain that little girl was put through and not to mention her mother. It seemed she tried to hide her child but it was to late. Stacy put her hands to her mouth as she stared at the screen        "I'm staying in a crime scene, no wonder it was so cheap" she whispered "Yeah horrible day that" Stacy turned so quick that if her head was loose it would of flew through the library and hit Stephanie on the head, luckily that didn't happen, she looked up and saw the handsome copper that spoke to her last year. When her mother past away "yeah I guess I didn't really know about it" Stacy tried a smile but could not seem to pass It off as genuine, the young police officer sat next to her, he was wearing dark jeans with a black t-shirt showing off his big arms in a good way not that Stacy was looking or anything "So how have you been?" he had a sweet smile on his face and his giant blue eyes was looking straight into Stacy's. "Look I don't know what you're doing but it's not working Mr. officer" Stacy didn't mean to snap but she didn't understand it she met the guy once when her mum died because he was doing his job why did he need to talk to her but it didn't matter he was only being nice. "Look I'm sorry I guess I don't know where my mind is right now" she hoped her apology meant something and sounded genuine but to her it sounded nothing like it, she put her hand to her fore head and leaned on the table looked at the handsome officer. "I know you don't know me but I knew your mum she was an amazing woman and I guess I just owe it to her to see how you doing. By the way my names Roy" he looked upset his eyes shining in sympathy "Okay Roy, how did you know my mum?" she asked hoping to sound more kind then she has been "She used to come to coral lake a lot, she reported that there was someone in the house I was the lucky devil to come see who it was. Luckily no one was there but just to make sure I stayed for a while, had a cup of tea and chatted, she talked about you and your sister a lot" Stacy didn't hear anything after she heard someone was in the house, it must have been the guy who killed her or woman. "Someone was in the house she never mentioned it" Stacy said her voice being low and little surprised that her mother never a intruder. Roy was quiet he knew he shouldn't of mentioned that part of the truth but how would he know that the mother wouldn't tell her daughter about it. "I guess she didn't want to worry you. Any ways why did you want to know about coral lakes past?" he asked his eyes glowing into Stacy's, she flushed red, he was gorgeous and he knew it but Stacy tried to restrain herself from his extremely good looks. "My sister wanted to come to the library so I got bored and just typed anything in" she gave him her  hundred and eighty watts smile and stood up over him still smiling like an idiot, she calmed herself down and turned away from that illusive face. "I got to go see you later" was all she said as she walked over to Stephanie grabbing her by the arm with her gentle touch "We're going now it's been nearly thirty minutes" She looked over her shoulder and by her surprise Roy was still looking, she smiled to herself. "Okay I'm done now any ways" Stephanie went carrying aloud of papers as they walked. Stacy wondered what Stephanie was actually up to but she didn't ask, she had her own thing going on right now. After they went to the café and eaten in silence with their own thoughts, Stacy and Stephanie went back to the cabin and went their separate ways, Stephanie heading to her bedroom without saying a word just staring at those papers, Stacy did ask if she was okay but she just waved her away more a less telling her she's fine so Stacy smiled and walked to the front doo staring out into the gentle lake.  There was a murder at the most calmest and safest lake side resort in the UK and some sick person or people killed a child and mother, how could someone do that? Stacy asked herself and now there had been her mother. Someone or some people took the greatest mother anyone could have hoped for, but the one thing she didn't get was why no one was convicted for the murder even after thirteen years. Stacy realized then that whoever did this psychotic crime was someone closer to where she was or it was someone pretty powerful and that scared her to the core.
