Stacy was in her car two minutes away from Rogers house, dried tears was on her cheeks, her hair hardly as straight and cute as it usually is, instead it was ruffled out like a punk star, the only thing that didn't match her style was the very cute top that she was still wearing. She was so confused and very worried about her sister she really didn't know what to do, she had a horrible gash on her arm from something that Stacy knew nothing about and that is the main thing that frightened Stacy, they weren't just sisters but best friends, they was so close they even told each other about when they lost their virginity something as personal as that she thought they would never hold a secret, especially Stephanie she never kept a secret, she always told Stacy everything but right now she was keeping everything to herself and this worried Stacy more then anything. Stacy smiled as she drove remembering the moment that Stephanie one morning when they were eating breakfast Stacy came running down the stairs she was only fifteen very happy with her boyfriend Patrick, Stacy was sitting on the kitchen table in her uniform ready to work at Sindhi café. Stacy sat her face beaming so bright "Is mum around?" she asked her fingers fidgeting under the table. "No she left for work why what's happened?" Stacy looked at her sister her smile lighting the whole room she started to giggle her head on the table, her long dark hair spread across the room "me and Patrick we finally you know done it" she started to giggle again when Stephanie spat all her cereal out her mouth her eyes glaring at her "What?" Stacy asked her smile still stuck on her face, even if her sister didn't agree with it she didn't care nothing would get rid of her happiness "Stacy your only fifteen" her sister's voice was gentle and caring she even reached across the table and touched Stacy's hand "So you was only sixteen when you lost yours" Stacy was still smiling and even though her voice was sharp she still sounded like her perky self "Okay so what was it like?" that's was much better for Stacy she been dying to tell Stephanie everything that happened "Well we had something to eat at his mums and no one was in I think she was at work and wasn't due back till later on the night and well it just king of happened it was so romantic we had the fire on and everything. I mean it hurt like hell at first but oh my god it was worth it he was amazing" Stacy's face lightened up even more she even went a bit pink as she told her sister. Stephanie started to smile also but Stacy knew that she disapproved but she never said anything she was a great sister but recently Stacy saw a change a horrible change and she would find out why.
After a while of smiling for a while remembering the past of a great memory with new fresh tears streaming down Stacy's smiling face, she suddenly remembered why she was here so she sat up wiped her face with her sleeve and stepped out the car, she felt the warm air hit her body and it was relaxing she walked a bit more up the gravelled road and looked at the huge house that was in front of her. It was beautiful, the bricks was a fresh brown colour with matching window sills and there was a lot of windows which made the house look even more magnificent. "He must be a millionaire" Stacy whispered to herself before she breathed a lot of warm air and then released it back into the world. She knocked the door waiting for a response no one answered at first so when she knocked again and the tall dark haired guy answered she looked a bit startled."Hello can I help you?" his voice had a lovely London accent, the more prim and proper then the usual cockney that you would hear where she was from, it had a bit of something else that Stacy couldn't put her finger on but right now it did not matter. He was wearing a black shirt with dark jeans, he had dark hair with a hint of grey that was smoothed back, he was obviously in his forty's maybe a bit older but he looked very good for his age Stacy thought, he had lovely dark eyes that held a little light to them. "Uh yes. My name is Stacy and I'm staying at the cabin in coral lake. I think you might already know but my mum was murdered there a year ago and I just really wanted to know if you know anything about it" she didn't hold a breath and it all came out very fast but with the guilt that was in his eyes and the way he stood there watching her was very unusual but he breathed in and moved out the way so Stacy could come in. The hall wasn't very big but it had a lovely unique look to it, there was a light brown mirror on the wall that was a weird octagon shaped, the carpet was black with little gold shimmers to it which Stacy thought was very beautiful. They walked into the living room which was very spacious that held a gorgeous marbled fire that had little expensive statues on the top of the marble piece, they was unique and each one a different scene of a family, one in particular that clenched Stacy's heart was a woman holding a baby with the father behind her looking down with it was a child next to the pair of them holding the mother leg. There was similar art work around the room one in particular was roger and his family they looked so happy all of them smiling sitting on a field."Please sit down" Roger said as he pointed to the red leather chair, there were two more including a settee "Thank you" was all Stacy could say, the house took her breath away it was amazing the black and gold designs of the walls and carpets was nothing but modern "Would you like something to drink? Wine maybe" Roger asked leaning against the fire place "No thank you. I just need to know if anyone else has been killed" Stacy replied looking up at the handsome man and he was very handsome especially when she noticed the muscular frame hidden in his shirt, "You are a very forward lady. I like that" he smiled at her and walked towards her before he sat on the opposite chair that Stacy was on then he leaned back and continued"I didn't know your mother and I am very sorry for your loss. But no it is not the first, the police do not seem to care but I think there's something strange happening" his voice became poetic like he was telling a story; he paused for a moment as he poured himself a glass of whiskey."What do you mean something strange is happening?" Stacy's voice was quiet and timid she was very nervous now but she seemed like she couldn't help but listen to Rogers voice he was hypnotizing "My wife Dianne and child, I do not think they ran away I think they were killed. Me and my wife was very much in love and my child was very special they would never leave me" His eyes started filling up with grief and it shown on his frown as he continued to speak. "After my wife and child disappeared a woman and child was killed in the cabin you are in. Then a lovely family moved into the cabin then they disappeared the police said they probably just left but I do not think so" Stacy was now drawn into what roger was saying, she completely agreed with everything he was saying. The whole situation was strange but why was the police dismissing it all? Nothing made sense. "Then my mother" she whispered looking at Roger in his dark eyes that was filled with heartache and loneliness "Yes then your mother was murdered. Listen sweetie you need to be careful it is very dangerous in that cabin and I cannot stress enough how dangerous it really is" he put his hand on hers as she looked down "We will be careful" Stacy said when she suddenly remembered her sister, she stood up and looked at roger he seemed to have something in his eyes which she could not place but he slowly stood up and looked down at her "Do you have a boyfriend?" Roger asked suddenly turning Stacy cheeks pink"Sadly No. It's my sister" Stacy smiled up at him as Roger's hand was placed on the shoulders"Please do be careful" he told her, his dark eyes staring into Stacy's, she could feel her cheeks becoming much more darker with a red glow, she looked down and turned away "Thank you for your time sir" she said as she went to the front door, he followed her out and walked her to the car "Your very welcome" he held her hand and put it to his lips kissed it gently causing Stacy chest to pound a little bit faster. She looked up seeing the warmth in his eyes that seemed to give Stacy a warm safe feeling and it was very unusual she never had this connection before, yes the very cute police man made her go very red but this was different this seemed to be right until she remembered his wife and child and then reality kicked back in. "Thank you again I best get back" she got back into her car and started the engine feeling the very rich, gorgeous guy staring at her, she smiled to herself in the rear view mirror, she finally looked at him and waved a goodbye but Roger did something that made Stacy feel like a teenager again he winked at her that started to make Stacy giggle as she drove away.
