"Little boy please step away from there. I won't hurt you I promise" Stephanie were at the beginning of the dock, leaning up the wooden plank not being able to go any further, it was like there was an invisible metal door demanding her to stay. She could see the back of the boys dark hair, it was scruffy like his last hair cut was nearly three years ago, a big head of a mop, his clothes were ripped, full of dirt. She was sure that if he turned around she would see more dirt around his face. Stephanie eyes swelled with tears, how could a parent treat their little boy like this she thought, he was right on the edge crying so quietly which was strange considering she could hear him near the cabin. "I've been bad" his voice was so quiet, chocked by the cries in his throat, "What do you mean you have been bad?" Stephanie took a step closer to the young lad her heart racing more quicker with each step she did not want to go any closer but her consciousness was getting the better of her she could not leave a small child like this he needed help and a lot of it by the looks of his ripped dirty clothes and the scratches on his hand that was deep and seeping with blood. "Come here I'll get you to a doctor" Stephanie told him her voice becoming more of a loving mother each time she spoke, gentle and quiet so she would not scare the small boy. Stephanie stood there here hand trembling slightly as she started to notice that she was right by the small boy she could see him now as she turned him around all of his clothes were ripped and had stains of blood, on his forehead where his hands was not covering, she noticed that the small boy also had a large cut on his head, the blood was dripping and landing on his clothes of rags. "What happened to you?" she whispered, as she tried to look at his face, he looked about six or seven by his height but he could have been younger. Stephanie came closer as she now was kneeling looking at the rest of the little boy, checking for more cuts and bruises "Did your mummy do this, or daddy?" Stephanie was now in a nurturing mode and nothing would break her out of it. She needed to know what had happened to this innocent young boy that looked so scared, so alone but more importantly badly hurt. She went to ask him again on what had happened when she noticed that he was starting to move his hands away from his face, "That's it I won't hurt..." she could not finish her sentence because she was too busy falling back on the ground with her hands to her mouth, the boy went pale like death, he had no eyes just two holes in his face where they were supposed to be, blood dripping out from each side. He was not alive, there was no way he was alive, his face was slowly turning into a grotesque figure as the two holes in his head poured of blood "Oh my god" was the only thing she could say, nothing else would come out, her heart was beating so fast that she thought she was going to have a panic attack, her breathing became shallow as she tried her best not to stop breathing. The little boy was now staring at her with those holes in his head tilting his head to the side like an innocent puppy. Stephanie wiped the tears from her face and started to reassure herself that he was only a young child. Please be a nightmare, please wake up soon. Even if this was a dead child, he was still a child and for some strange reason she could not run "What happened to you?" she asked as she lifted herself off of the floor, she came closer to him ''I want to help you'' she asked but this was the wrong thing to do she should of stayed in the cabin because instead she saw something that she could never explain, the young boy screamed a deathly sound where his mouth became much bigger than his head his face becoming a deathly white sending Stephanie to the ground covering her ears with her hands, she looked at him as he jumped in the lake twisting his body all the way around like no human boy should. Stephanie crawled along the deck seeing into the water not knowing what had happened all that was left was the gentle waves of the lake and Stephanie sitting there with not a clue on what happened, was she going mad? or was this all real? Maybe Stacy was right, maybe there was more to Coral Lake then what she thought.  She didn't know what to believe so she stood up held her breath while slightly shivering and walked back in the cabin because right now she was petrified and she wanted to be in the same place as her sister.
