"Oh come on Steph you got to go" Stacy was now begging to Stephanie, she was showing those bright green eyes at her, using the puppy dog trick to its best abilities but it was failing dramatically, it had been half hour since she went to her sister's home asking her to come with her to Coral lake, she dropped her head in her hands for a bit waiting for her sister to talk it took a while before she actually did. "You know I can't I relive that memory again it's going to break me Stacy" Stephanie said her voice breaking "You are already broke Stephanie, look around your place it is a mess" It was all true the place was filled with empty wine bottles, the kitchen sink was full of plates and cups. Her clothes was thrown around the floor, the only place that seemed clean was the fireplace where the framed pick of them with there mother stood "you have nearly been sacked twice and you've hardly slept you need this, please I can't do this without you" Stacy stood and looked back at her sister, her hair was up in a messy bun, she was wearing her spotty black pink spotted pyjamas, she had dark big bags under her eyes, and she was pale and looked nothing like her beautiful sister, she also noticed the dramatic weight loss and how she couldn't even talk without her nearly crying. "Well that's my choice. Like mother's choice was to go outside and now look what happened she left me" her voice became croaked and strained from the crying she was doing, she became so helpless so tormented but the loss of her idle "But Stephanie what about if she didn't choose to go outside what if she was murdered wouldn't you want to find out who did it?. Stephanie I've already lost my mother don't make me lose my sister too. Please come with me" Stacy was now kneeling next to her sister holding her cold shaking hand. Stephanie was looking at her eyes becoming wider and wider. "Fine" she whispered, tears was rolling down her cheeks now, she was slightly shaking with nerves, she stood and looked at her Stacy "I'll go in the shower, will you pack my things" she asked still in a whisper, but without waiting for an answer she retreated into the bathroom. Stacy stood for a while listening to the showers sprays of water, she smiled and said to her self "Don't worry mum I'll find out what happened to you?" And then she went to pack her sisters things her mind filled with plans to find out the truth.

The drive to coral lake was silent, the only noise they could hear was the violent echo's of the wind, none of the sisters spoke they were both indulged in there own thoughts, Stacy's being that she would find out what actually happened to her mum, thinking about all the things that didn't add up and the only way she would find out what actually happened would be by searching the history of the cabin there in. Stacy had a weird feeling this was the answer just because of the dream she had eight months prior that still to this day she remembered vividly. It was strange and it sent fear and chills down her spine every time she thought about it. It started with herself standing in the middle of coral lake only her head popping out the water, her mother was in the house being pulled by an invisible force that dragged her to the edge of the dock, gripping her head he pushed her face into the lake, forcing her lungs to digest the salty water. Stacy was watching everything screaming at the top of her voice, shouting her mother's name as she tried to fight the grasp on her head, her arms lashing out as finally her mothers body went limp. Tears rolled down her face but then everything changed, the cabin looked new her mother disappeared and this time an old women was in the house and Stacy was standing on the stairs watching the whole thing, she saw a knife rise while the old woman slept, coming closer to her throat then with one quick sweep the old woman's throat was exposed blood squirting out, but the weirdest thing that happened was when the scene changed again and this time she was in darkness the only this she could see was her mother's face came close and shouted "avenge us" which was when Stacy woke up and whispered "Us".

"How long are we going to be?" Stephanie asked her face turning into a small little girl again, Stacy new she hated her right now for forcing her to come back to where her mother died but she needed this, all she had been doing is turning her life into nothing and Stephanie deep down knew this which is the main reason why Stacy got her here, she needed to face her demons. "Not long now. Are we okay?" she had to ask, Stacy didn't want to fall out with her sister, they were to close for that too similar in many ways even if Stephanie didn't realize it. "Yes we're fine" was the only answer Stacy received which really upset her, it made her feel guilty about forcing her sister to come but she knew that Stephanie will get over it she hoped. Twenty minutes later Stacy and Stephanie parked up near the cabin like the last time they were here, it was quiet and so beautiful, it was nearly dark around about eight o'clock at night, the only light was coming from the moon, the refection shimmering from the lake making the place look magical like a little girls fairy tale but Stacy knew better she knew that this place was not as it seemed there was an evil presence here and she was going to hunt it down and destroy whatever killed her mother. "Where's the torch?" Stephanie asked as she was rummaging through the luggage using her phone as a light "Here I put them in my bag" she gave Stephanie one and told her that she bought three packs of batteries for them, she pulled hers and started to take her luggage one by one so her other hand can carry the source of light. After ten minutes Stacy had her last bag to carry as Stephanie had all hers in, she shone the torch in the car and grabbed her car keys then locked the door, she bent down to grab her bag but then heard a scream she turned around and shone the torch in the trees no one was there, "Who's there?" Stacy shouted she had no answer just the wind gushing through her hair, all she could hear was the waves of the lake, she breathed out and started to go back to the cabin that was only a few minutes away but it seemed longer due to the nervousness that she felt, a scream was heard once again but this time it was coming from the dock, Slowly she walked over to it but not before putting her bag by the door in the cabin. It all felt like a dramatic scene in a horror movie but this was important if she wanted answers she needed to follow the scream, she also wanted to make sure no one was there. A she go closer she shined her torch showing nothing but darkness and trees, and when she got to the end she shone the torch in the water nothing seemed to appear she breathed out and shook her head. "It's just me" she whispered to herself she went to turn until she heard her mother's voice "Stacy."  Stacy stood on the spot completely horrified  "Mother" but when she turned back around her mother wasn't there just an empty lake and a big shining moon but then all of a sudden a face appeared in the water she looked closer and saw her mother's grey face looking at her she screamed, Stacy fell back as she was her mother started to rise blood coming down her face "Avenge us, avenge us, avenge us" this was being repeated and repeated in a screeched voice, Stacy was lying on her back covering her ears "I will" she kept saying to herself hoping it would make her go away or come back to reality "Stacy what's wrong?" Stephanie was kneeling by her, that long dark hair covering one side of her face "I,I,I must have slipped" her voice was quiet and by the look of Stephanie's face Stacy knew she didn't believe her lie but before her sister could argue with her, she got up grabbed her torch and went back to the cabin removing the tears from her face.
