"Hi sweetheart." Yeonjun almost wanted to cry once he felt his husbands arms wrap around his waist and pull him close into a back hug adding a sweet kiss on the cheek as well.

He had to hold his breath to not let out a sob as the whole situation made his emotions run. All the times he wished Soobin would welcome him so sweetly again rushed to his mind and he couldn't hold it together.

"H-hey.." he whispered, taking a stuttered deep breath right after to not break down from the beautiful feeling of being held by the man he loved so much.

"What you cooking?" Soobin's breath tickled the side of Yeonjun's neck and cheek as his head laid on his shoulder. His thumbs gently rubbed small circles on the older's covered belly and he slightly swayed them from side to side in a soothing manner.

"Some veggie soup, my stomach's been upset..." Yeonjun focused on stirring the soup rather than on the presence of his husband that didn't make it any easier for him to not cry like a baby.

"Baby we should really go see some doctor, I'm worried about you." He pulled him even closer, causing Yeonjun to slightly scrunch to a ball as he was engulfed in his arms completely.

"I'm fine. Should I make you something to eat too? I didn't expect you to come home so early." He untangled himself from his eyes and walked to the fridge to get out the meat he had prepared for his husband. He wasn't expecting him, but the hope was still there and to his surprise Soobin really came this time.

"I've already eaten-" Soobin started, already hating the way the ravenette's expression saddened. "Oh..."  Yeonjun breathed out, opening the fridge again to put the meat back.

"-but it was pretty awful. Your cooking is the best darling, want my help?" He took the plate with two pieces of prepared steak from his hands and smiled. "You've done this for me? Thank you Jun-ah." Another kiss on the cheek, making Yeonjun more sensitive and confused at the same time. This was so very new and different from the past few weeks. It made him want to cuddle up to his pillow and bawl his eyes out like he's gotten used to in the meantime.

He stood by the kitchen island and quietly watched the way Soobin prepared his own dinner. His back was facing him and Yeonjun wished everything between them was okay so he could be closer to him and not feel unwanted.

Before he could let his thoughts run, Soobing fueled his fears by saying the words he loathed to hear. "Hey, can we talk a little later? I've got some news and also papers for you to sign." His heart sunk to his stomach and he was sure all color disappeared from his  face. It was happening... he though he was prepared for the moment, but the opposite was the truth. How could he be prepared for losing the person he loved the most?

He only hummed, not being brave enough or able to speak up over the lump that formed in his throat.

Soobing turned around with a bright smile and wiped his hands before coming over to him. "Alright baby. Why don't you get your soup and go on the couch, I'll be there in a second." He pressed a sweet kiss on Yeonjun's lips, giving him a bowl of soup before sending him off.

Yeonjun was puzzled.

This was completely new and scary to him. He was convinced that this was the day their marriage came to an end. There was no other explanation as to why he was doing all this.

Only the though of losing the person he loved the most made his breath become shallow. Soobin was his husband. They were together for six whole years, there was so much they had experienced together, so many battles they overcame.

Now it would be all gone and he knew exactly what will happen to him if and once they divorce. There will be no more chances for him. No more experiences or opportunities to move on from the heartbreak. He will be murdered as he knows too much information about the world he married to.
