6-A long walk

*GASP*"FUCK!"

Onny woke up from a nightmare.
Onny sighed and looked around and rubbed his eyes.
He stretched his arms then slowly stood up from the bed.

*yawn* "damn, dreams"
Onny picked up his bag and wore it and grabbed the gun under the pillow.
Onny looked at the gun still scared of it and unsure if he can actually use it if he needed to .
Onny remembered his scythe and the other gun.
He packed all the other things he needed in his bag.
And he grabbed one of the canned foods from his bag and ate it.
After eating he decided to go back to the building to get the scythe and gun.
Onny sighed and gathered his courage and slowly walked out the building. Praying in his mind.

As onny finally reached the exit, he peaked outside first to see if there was something that would harm him before leaving. 56
After seeing that there was nothing there he took a deep breath and stepped outside.
Cautious and slow steps, Onny walked towards the building were he once escaped.
"I can't believe I'm doing this for a gun! And a damn scythe!
He said to himself.
But the scythe is kind of important to Onny because it's the only weapon he knows how to properly use.
But the scythe given to him is not like the others that are used in farm's.
It's long and sharp and it's a Pointed slanted edge.
Which can be used in useful ways for Onny.
But for the other gun(ak-47)
He really doesn't know if he'll even use it or take it with him.
But the important thing right now is to retrieve them.

Onny almost reach the building.
Just a few more steps.
Onny felt like he was walking towards hell.

He finally reached the baracaded entrance.
He remembered that the survivors baracaded the entrance and windows so he had to go inside using the back exit again.
He gulped and sighed.
He took out his gun and clenched on in then without any hesitation
Onny ran around the building and to the back exit while holding his gun.

Onny kept on running until he spotted the back exit again and ran towards it.

Onny ran as fast as he can until he entered the building and stopped when he was inside.
"Shit" Onny laughed.
"Did i actually did that? Ha ha ha"
Onny didn't felt brave doing that.
But his courage soon disappeared.
He saw the survivor's dead body again. The one he ran through escaping that monster.

Onny held his gun tight and prepared his fingers on the trigger.
Slowly he went past the body and to the path he remembered when he last entered the building searching for the officer.

Onny got a little confused but managed to find the room again and then saw the officer's dead body covered and right besides it is the scythe and ak-47.
Onny smiled and slowly approached the dead body and to the weapons.

As he was about to grab the scythe besides the dead body.
Suddenly-
"AH!" Onny accidentally screamed
The dead body slipped and landed on Onny's hand.
Onny covered his mouth and pushed the body away and proceeded to grab the scythe and the ak-47.

As he was about to leave he heard something... Coming from the dead body...

Onny looked at the body and gagged.
The cover that was covering the dead body slipped and fully revealed the officers pale and... Decaying face?
"B-but i-... I... I... You just died yesterday h-how can u be decaying already?"
Onny trembled.
Onny was about to grab the cover and cover the dead body again but mid way stopped.

THE OFFICER'S EYES SUDDENLY POPPED OUT HIS SKULL!

"Oh, god" Onny gagged and puked

"M-maggots"
HUGE MAGGOTS WERE CRAWLING OUT FROM THE OFFICER'S EYES AND SKULL.
MAGGOTS THE SIZE OF A CORN.

"OH, FUCK, FUCK FUCK FUCK!!"

Onny couldn't believe what he was seeing.
He was feeling both disgust and anger because that's the body of the man that helped him.
The body being INFESTED BY MAGGOTS.

Onny watched as more maggots came out of the dead bodies eyes then another strange sound came from the dead body.
The sound of CHEWING FROM THE INSIDE.
Onny teard up and almost fainted at the sight of.......
The MAGGOTS CHEWING AND CRAWLING THEIR WAY OUT OF THE DEAD MAN'S BODY, FROM THE SKIN, FLESH, ORGANS, AND BONES.
The dead body violently shakes as the
..... MAGGOTS WERE CRAWLING OUT ON EVERY PART OF THE DEAD BODY...
TEARING IT INTO PIECES...

Onny couldn't stand it any longer and stood up and grabbed his scythe, packed the ak-47 and ran.

He didn't care what will happen next he just wants to go out of the building.

He reached the exit not even caring about the carnage anymore.
All he can think about is the officer's dead body.
THE MAGGOTS.

Once onny ran out the building he immediately bent down and started puking.

"FUCK!"
"This- this is so messed up!"
"These 'safe zones' better be worth it to see this kinds of things again"

Onny finally calmed down and grabbed the map from his bag and searched for his location and after a while he finally found his location and tried to find something that can write and luckily he found a pencil I could use to go to Philippines, like a boat"

He scanned the map and found a river and a village? Just beside the river. Onny sighed and decided to go there.

Onny decided to go check the village first, because maybe they have boats or some sort of transportation.
"This is gonna be a long... Long walk"
