21- Eggs.

Once they got to the palace Onny and Ruby collapsed on the ground and started catching their breaths but Ariah, Seth, and Mary didn't stop and barbed inside leaving the two outside.

"W-wait" Ruby said between deep breaths.
Onny can hear their footsteps getting further and further.
"C-come on, Onny" Ruby said then stood up reaching her hand to help Onny up.
Their breaths started to steady and entered the palace.
Ruby guided Onny around the palace searching for the others, at last they found Ariah, Seth, Mary, the maids and..... Phatoc..... They were all inside the garden using all kinds of weapons like guns and bows on phatoc while it is crawling around the walls... It's so huge that she almost covers the walls, screeching, growling, and all covered in it's own blood.
"What the hell happened?!" Ruby asked a maid.
"Well it seems that the centipede is getting weaker and lost her tough body" she replied.
Ruby and Onny watched the other maids fight phatoc in which phatoc is losing and can't fight back.
Onny spotted Ariah from one of the windows on the second floor and immediately told Ruby...
Ruby nodded and pulled Onny from the garden and into the halls, and to the stairs.
Onny started running with Ruby searching around the hall to find where is the room Ariah was.
Finally they found the room and inside was Seth injured and bloody while resting his head on Ariah's laps while gently rubbing Seth's cheek,  his left thigh was bandaged and seemed to be causing the bleeding.
"W-what happened?!" Onny asked.
"His okay, we just found out that Phatoc is a mother" Ariah said.
"Damn, o-one of them got me right on the thigh" Seth said.
"Ruby and Onny please find my sister and Penelope and tell them I'm sorry" Ariah said.
"Why sor-"
"Just go!.... Please, they were last seen going down the basement" Ariah shouted.
Ruby nodded and gestured Onny to follow her.
"Wait there's a basement?" Onny asked.
"Yes, but it's always lock and no one never entered"
Then the two stopped on their track.
Three centipedes.. The size of the tree appeared.... Slowly crawling around the hallway..
"What the fuck" Ruby muttered.
"Should we go the other wa-"
The centipede spotted the two and let out a screech and started crawling rapidly to them.
Ruby took out her sword and with the right timing she swings her sword exactly at the centipedes head, decapitating it.
"Guess you're not as tough as your mom huh?" She said, mocking the dead centipede and its two other siblings.
The other one got lucky and dodged Ruby's attack and managed to tackle her down to the ground but she still stopped the centipedes head from biting her head off with her sword between the centipedes mouth while it wiggled around pushing its weight down on Ruby.
Onny got pushed by one of the centipede before he can help Ruby.
"Ouch" he looked up and saw the centipede crawling towards him, he grabbed his scythe from the distance and pointed it to the upcoming centipede.
The centipede got close enough for Onny to swing up his scythe and swings it down to Peirce it right at the top of the centipedes head.
The centipedes blood sprayed out its head and onto the ground, oozing and dripping.
"Ha! Haha! You bitch!" Onny smiled and laughed seeing the centipede he successfully killed.
"Onny!" Ruby shouted still pushing off the centipede.
"Oh, right sorry!" Onny took out his scythe out of the centipedes head making a cracking and slimy noise from all the blood coming out of it, he ran to Ruby and the centipede, he swings his scythe again and stabbed the centipede causing it to screech in pain.
Ruby saw the chance to take her revenge and took it, she smiled and with the flick of an eye her sword is already pierced through the centipedes jaw and through it's skull, thick blood oozing out and dripping on Ruby's sword.
She scoffed and pushed the centipede on her side and stood up, stumped on the centipede and removed her sword out it's bloody head.
Onny was amazed and smiled.
"Come on, Onny"
Onny nodded, Ruby started running again and Onny followed.
Once they finally arrived down the first floor, then Ruby realized.
"Wait, it's too quiet" the sounds of the maids laughing fighting the Phatoc stopped.
Ruby rushed to the garden instead of the basement.
Onny didn't question her and just followed.

"Oh, god" Ruby suddenly stopped on her track.
Onny stopped also still standing behind Ruby slightly shivering.
Onny swallowed hard and peaked.
He gagged.
Half the maids are still in the garden but.... On the ground, bloody, decapitated, and being eaten by eleven centipede.
Their heads, organs, hearts, skull, broken bones, eyes, and tongues scattered all around the garden.
Onny tried pulling Ruby away but she didn't moved at all.
"Go" Ruby coldly said.
"W-what?"
"Go through the hallway walk right and walk more and turn left. An old gate, the basement"
"B-but I can't-"
"Go"
Onny swallowed hard and gripped his scythe tightly and turned around and started running off to the hallway Ruby said to go.

"Let's go, mother f*ckers! " Ruby shouted.
"Hey, you aren't alone you know" from Ruby's behind, Mary's voice echoed.
Ruby smiled at her and nodded.
Mary and Ruby prepared and raised their swords.
"Let's have some fun" they both said.

Meanwhile Onny was running through all the hallways and path Ruby told him to.
Once he saw the rusty, huge, and old gate from the distance, he stopped mid-way and looked back rethinking and scared to continue.
He teared up a little but bit his tongue.
He grabbed the ak-47 out his bag and thought "I guess I might be needing you then".
He swallowed hard and slowly approached the gate, while his getting closer and closer he noticed huge holes around the hallway and it already knew that it was made by the centipedes.
He reached for the gate already opened. He still couldn't fit though, so he slowly and cautiously pushed the gate wide open, making a creaking metal noise.
He sighed and entered.
He looked down at the long and huge stairs and slowly walked down, not wanting to make any noise.
"Thank goodness there's torches around" he thought, looking at the torches placed on the wall.
It took a minute for Onny to finally step in a dimmed small room.
It's a small supply room. Onny sighed and got disappointed, he thought he entered the wrong one.
But before he could leave he spotted another door on the side of the room.
He approached it and to his surprise it was unlocked.
He slowly pushed it open and there was another hallway or more like an underground tunnel and at the end another gate.
He slowly walked in and started walking towards.
Once he finally arrived at the gate, weeping and crying was heard.
Onny peaked but couldn't see anything.
He found out that the gate is too big and wide enough for Onny to push himself in.
Squeezing himself through the gate, he grunted and successfully went past it.
He smiled at himself but immediately focused on the basement- "What the?"
Onny looked around and it's far from a basement, he looked around the.... Cave. He noticed something from the distance... phatoc! But... Laying on the ground.. Dead And hatched centipede eggs around her.
on her side were Ali and Penelope sitting. While Ali was crying and resting her head on Penelope's shoulder, while Penelope's hand is softly stroking Ali's hair.
"Phatoc. M-my baby" Ali whimpers.
.... Wiping away her tears.
