13-Slow and steady

Onny woke up after a long night.
He yawned and stretched
Feeling refreshed and somehow happy.
He stood and looked around.
And saw the trees and the river really Calm.... Strangely Calm.

Onny always knows that there's something wrong.
He walked towards the engine and turned it on again, stirring the boat forward and steady.

Hours had passed.
Onny decided to take a rest and eat some of the food Moris gave him.

He opened his bag and grabbed the canned beans and opened it.
He munched down the beans and threw the empty can to the river.....
And boy did he regret doing that..

The second Onny threw the can to the river, it immediately attracted the fishes....
INFECTED FISHES.

Onny noticed bubbles rapidly coming out of the water.
He was about to start the engine again but suddenly-....
The boat started to shake and jump violently.

The boat was being carried and pushed by something huge below.
Not just one or two.
There are many..

Onny lost balance and accidentally tripped and dipped his head under the water.
He opened his eyes and saw..
Many INFECTED FISH.
Many kinds are swimming below his boat.
And when he tilted his head towards the other direction a fish swam rapidly towards Onny.
Onny's eyes widened and lifted his head back.
And soon his boat got pushed and lifted again.

He grabbed onto the pole to prevent him from falling again.
He looked at the direction the fish hit his boat and saw it's fin coming back again from the distance.

Onny ran towards the engine and immediately started it.
The boat started moving again
While the fish chase behind.

"Fuck you, you bitch!" Onny cursed at the fish for scaring him.
Onny looked forward and kept going.
But the fish is much faster than the boat.

Onny grabbed his gun and tried to point it at the fish and started shooting but miserably missed.

"Damn it" Onny reloaded his gun.
And aimed at the fish again.
And missed the first shot and...
The second he shoots again.
He actually shot the fish on its head.
Onny smiled but sooned frowned.
The fish didn't even flinch.
The bullet broke because of the fish's hard head.

"The fuck?!" Onny shouted.
Onny shoots the fish again and again but didn't affect the fish one bit.

The fish kept getting closer and closer until it eventually reached the end of the boat, where the engine is.

Onny stumbled and...
Looked at his scythe.
"Time to use you"
Onny said.
He grabbed the scythe, stood up and lifted the scythe to the air and launched it down the fish.
Piercing into the fish's head.

Onny smiled and screamed.
He took out the scythe from the fish head and repeatedly Peirced and stab the fish until it sprayed red and green blood onto Onny and the river.
The fish eventually surrendered and swam down. Onny couldn't believe it he actually did it...
Use a weapon.
And actually protected himself.

Onny smiled and celebrated.
"Ah!! Hahahah!" Onny laughed and sat down the boat tired.

While moving he looked down the dark Greenish water and thought that there were many more infected animals there not just fish...

He looked at the blood covered scythe and smiled.

He slowly stood up and started the engine again.
With a satisfied face he continued sailing.

An hour passed and Onny just ate.
He decided to take another quick break.

He stopped the engine and sighed.
He closed his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep..

*splash* Onny gasped.
He opened his eyes and rubbed it
Looking around the river.

He swore he heard something.
He thought its better to just leave.
He once again started the boat engine and moved forward again.
But before he did he heard it again.
A low growl.

He looked back while the boat is still moving.
He looked at the trees and squinted his eyes.
The other one looks odd it doesn't have any leaves or tree trunks around it. And it looks.... Sharp.
He squinted his eyes even harder.
While doing so.....
The tree....MOVED
The tree-
No..... The TAIL MOVED...

Onny gulped and speeds up the boat...
What he saw terrified him.
He thought it was a tree but...
It was the tail of a CROCODILE...
Almost as big like the trees.

Onny blankly looked at the tail while getting far from it.
The whole crocodile must be as big as a plane to have a tail like that, he thought.

Onny got away from that thing.
He closed his eyes and sighed in relief.

Once he opened his eyes.............. The tail already made it's way DOWN THE RIVER AGAIN.

"Fuck" Onny muttered.
Feeling anxious and worried he tightly gripped his scythe while speeding up the engine.

Onny is almost hyperventilating.
Having uncontrollable heavy and deep breaths.

He prayed inside his mind hoping that the thing won't follow him like the fish did.

*splash* Onny froze.
Something swam up the river.....
In front of the boat..
He slowly looked at it....
Nothing..
Just trees, water and.... A huge Rock.
Onny stopped the engine.
Looking around anxiously.
Until he spotted something.
"Did that rock move?" He thought.

The huge rock suddenly got closer to the boat.
Onny slowly backed off and almost started the engine again.

But froze mid way.......
It opened.....
It opened his eyes....
The huge rock.... Half as tall as Onny.
Open.
It wasn't a rock....
It's an EYE.

Onny couldn't breath, move, or pretty much everything.
He took a deep breath.
The eye is looking directly at him.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck" Onny is again cursing inside his head.

Almost 5 minutes passed and Onny and the crocodile didn't break eye contact.

Then all of the sudden the crocodile closed his eyes and started to swim up to land to the trees again.

Onny's mouth and eyes widened in horror.
"Holy shit!" He muttered.

The crocodile is as BIG as a AIRPLANE.

Every movement it made in the water caused huge waves.
And made the ground shake with every step it made.

The disfigured, huge crocodile laid on the ground completely camouflaging itself.

Onny is too scared to move even though the crocodile already started sleeping..
He waited for half an hour before slowly and cautiously starting the engine again in a slow and steady pace.

Onny didn't break sight on the crocodile until he finally got far enough to speed up the boat again.
Onny couldn't believe what he saw back there.

Onny saw from the distance...
"Damn, it is true"
From the distance a island and a palace.

"They weren't joking when they said a kingdom, haha" he said to himself.
Onny stood up already calmed down.

"I guess I'll be going in a fairy tail place-"
Before Onny can finish his sentence
The crocodile he thought he escaped flipped the boat including him flying to the skies.
"Ahh!!" Onny screamed.
Onny used the remaining time before he plummets down the water again to use the strap of his bag and wrap it around his scythe and gripped it around him tightly and-
Onny crashes in the water..
And hitting his head hard and lost conscious....
