**Gaeul's POV**

After the first month having the interns with us, the department heads decided that they deserved a treat so we arranged (more like I arranged) a company dinner for everyone. I first had to get the funding from our general manager Mrs. Choi Yujin. I was nervous since this was actually the first time I was going to talk to her ever since she got promoted and I got promoted to take her old post.

I creaked the door open slightly, "Yujin?" Saying that name still stung a bit. My old high school crush and best friend was also named Yujin, but I was unsuccessful in winning her heart, however I've grown over it so I am happy that she and her girlfriend are happy together now; they've become my best friends despite the drama between us. Anyways, it's starting to seem like someone is against me with all these Yujin's in my life: An Yujin, Choi Yujin, and Han Yujin...strange...

"Come in Gaeul. What is it?" She looked up from her monitor and glared at me for disrupting her work. I was surprised she recognized my voice.

"Hey, so me and the other department heads wanted to take the new interns out. Do you think we'll be able to with company funds?"

She scratched her head, "well you're the manager, what do you think?"

I swallowed a gulp; Yujin always gave these seemingly easy questions that I should know, but then it would turn out to be a trick question. I decided to proceed forward headstrong, "yes. It should be within budget."

"are you sure...?" She stared at me, looking like she was playing a riddle on me.

"Yes. I am certain."

She cheekily smiled, "good. Then take the card." She dug through her wallet and pulled out a sleek black card to hand to me over her table.

I walked over, internally jumping up and down from being correct for once. When I tried to take the card, her firm stayed strong.

"Before I give it to you. Sit down and tell me about the interns. I haven't met them yet so I want to hear how they are. And tell me where you're going tonight because I want to join and meet them in-person."

I followed her orders and sat down in the chairs in front of the desk.

"Well Graphics doesn't have one since they already have 3, so in Marketing, there is Moon Seonghyun, Foreign has Han Yujin, and I have Hyunseo. Chaehyun has described Seonghyun as someone energetic and cheerful; he blends in with the chaos energy of the people in the Marketing department, while also being diligent enough to do his work efficiently. From what Zhang Hao has told me his intern, Yujin, is very reserved, very quiet, yet he works like no other. He sums Yujin up as a total robot; a work machine that does all of his assignments quickly, accurately, and precisely."

"...and for Ms. Hyunseo?"

"Hyunseo is okay. She's handled the workload I've given her proficiently and is still currently learning the skills necessary for the future of the job. She does her work diligently, yet most of the time, I have to revise it myself because she makes multiple errors. She's incredibly quiet but I can tell that she's trying really hard to do her work independently. She doesn't like asking me for help which is admirable yet stupid. There are some moments where I catch her drifting off to sleep which she tries to hide each time by going to the restroom to wash her face. She would definitely do well in another field and I could infer she definitely did want to work somewhere else, but unfortunately she was stuck upon me. All this to say that she is...trying. That's all I can say to summarize her: she is trying."

Mrs. Choi took a moment to grasp my words, "so...this Hyunseo...according to your standards, I can consider her a good intern and a valuable asset in the future?"
