**Leeseo's POV**

Gaeul and I have formed a great sense of communication ever since we were locked in a room for an entire night. I definitely feel more comfortable around her and I hope she feels the same way about me despite all of the times I've humiliated myself in the past. It feels as though she just knows what I'm doing at all times. There are several instances where I start slacking off and she tells me to go back to work even though her eyes are still glued to her monitor; like she had a sixth sense solely focused on me.

We've started to actually work on the same projects together. Obviously she did the difficult parts and I handled the basic, easy stuff but it still gave me a greater sense of responsibility and respect in the office. Along with becoming friends with Gaeul, I've become greater friends with Seonghyun and Han Yujin. Gaeul is fun and all, but it sure is stressful trying to not upset your boss, so when I get to destress with people my age and most importantly, NOT my boss, at lunch, I felt great joy with the pressure being lifted off my shoulders.

It felt like those two were complete opposites when I first met them, but after months together, we've really connected and grown closer to each other. Seonghyun showed his less energetic and chatty side which meant there were some times Yujin and I could actually speak and Yujin opened up more; he wasn't a total robot anymore. I think I even opened up too. I never imagined myself hanging out with two dudes from work, but we even planned some days outside of work to hang out. It was great having these two around since my other two best friends were completely MIA at their own jobs. In fact, this weekend, the three of us were planning on hanging out at the park. It was Seonghyun's brother's birthday and he invited us. I had nothing going on and neither did Yujin so we agreed to stop by. It was at Daejeon National Park, the place where we went to for our field trip and where I got that polaroid of the lady in the background. I completely forgot all about that thing until Yuyeon recalled it when I told her about my day. We video-call almost everyday since we don't see each other all that much anymore.

I usually don't get too hyped up about plans, however, after a stressful last week of working, Gaeul could tell there was something hogging my mind.

"Focus on your work Leeseo." she stated nonchalantly from my left. We were currently outlining a new construction project to send off to be approved and she wanted it to be finished before the weekend.

"Sorry Gaeul."

"Just one more day and you're free. You got this. Here's some trail mix." She threw it softly next to my mouse and walked off to talk to Hanbin about designing the 3D image for the project.

I opened the bag of trail mix as I was craving a snack. Yujin walked past and nabbed a M&M from the packet.

"OH C'MON YUJIN!"

He smirked and poured some of it into his hand. At this point, Gaeul came back from the Graphics department. "No messing around during working hours Leeseo."

"Yeah, but h-"

"No buts. Just finish the first draft and I'll let you free."

"First draft? PSHHH EASY!" I crackled my fingers, ready to embark on the typing spree of my life.

As I finished the draft, Seonghyun and Yujin crowded around my desk, impatiently waiting for me to finish so that we can go grab dinner as we promised. It was also to discuss the plans for tomorrow since our original plan was foiled as Seonghyun has to get to the party earlier now. He is our driver, so we were contemplating on what to do now.

Their excitement and cheers when I finally finished filled the whole office. Man those dorks are embarrassing me in front of Gaeul. I did my usual routine of turning off the computer and whatnot and headed out the door.
