**Gaeul's POV**

It was a bit of a bummer when I saw that the two boys immediately chose the other two options instead of me, but I completely understood; I wouldn't choose Management at first either. I sent the other two off with their new team captains and returned back to the Management department to find my own intern, sitting patiently in her chair.

"If I'm not mistaken, your name is Hyunseo?"

She nodded yes, without saying anything. Her face looked so innocent, like a baby cub; it almost caused me to smile, breaking my authoritative image I wanted to uphold to her. "So, Hyunseo, I'll be upfront with you; I don't want to give you any false image of the Management sector of business, so here is an outline of the tasks I am expecting you to do by the end of this internship course."

I printed out a document I worked on when I gave them over to Hanbin in Graphics. It was a basic checklist of upcoming projects that I expect her to work on for the entirety of the course. Maybe it was a bit too much though. I'm not too sure how much work I should be giving her. I glanced up at Hyunseo from behind my monitor screen, she looked completely blank. "A-are you listening to me?"

She quickly nodded in response. I scratched my head, not talkative it seems...

"alright, the day is about to end, so I'm just going to teach you some basic skills and concepts that you're going to need for most of the tasks you'll be completing in Management."

I overviewed general ideas that I thought would be beneficial. This was mostly taken from my own history starting in the Management department. It was the old Management team leader, Mrs. Choi, that I copied from since she did this for us new recruits at the time and I found it very insightful. It consisted of stuff such as Excel, knowing what some common terms meant, what you should write in certain situations, etc. I was worried that I would bore her, but she seemed quite involved in whatever I was lecturing. She watched, listened, and wrote, attentively as I went through a hastily made presentation I found and edited. I noticed a slight sparkle in her eye as I rambled on and on. If she is as interested in the material as I assume then maybe...just maybe... this internship program may not be as bad as I thought with the right person.

As I wrapped up, I needed to confirm, "Hyunseo, did you get all of that? Feel free to ask any questions or even text me. I'll just give you my phone number right now."

She dug out her phone and waited for me to state my number. She then told me her number and texted me to confirm. From what I've observed, she seems very reserved and shy. I'm not the most extroverted person either so I worry about our communication in the future. It was time to end the day when we finished the preparatory stuff.

"Hyunseo... do you have a way to get home?" I asked as I packed my things in my bag, trying to be nice.

"Yes. I'm going home by bus."

"Oh, I see. Get home safe then!" I was about to jog out the office but my gut was feeling something strange; something felt wrong... I turned back, "Hey Hyunseo, I hope I didn't scare you off with all this business talk. It's tough work and I admit it especially since you're the only employee in Management. If anything gets tough, message me, always." With those inspirational words, I felt proud of myself and left the room and waited in the car for Chaehyun.

On the drive home, Chaehyun and I usually discuss our days. The topic of today was obviously about the interns.

"How did you like your guy?" I questioned, seeing if I pulled the short straw with my chosen intern.

"He's cool. He seems very nice and energetic so he fits pretty well with all those loud people in my department. How's yours?"
