1) Welcome Ladys and Gentlemen

Welcome lady's and gentleman, as a new season begins we will see a whole batch of lovely lady's appear.

For the first time this year all fractions will see each other, the question is which district will hold the Queens favorite flower?

As everyone in the air fraction knows Miss.Melanie of the Orientalis house will be on the market for those of you who aren't from the Air district she is the first born of the richest family out of all fractions duke and duchess Orientalis prized possession,

And in my opinion she is absolutely exquisite, as are all children of duke and duchess Orientalis, but we mustn't spend the entire paper just speaking about her and her family why don't we move on to the fire district.

I'm sure we all remember when Sir Borealis died and left his entire fortune to his son the new Sir Borealis, well if I've heard correctly and trust me I have then we can expect him to be looking for a Lady Borealis.
Now would you like to hear some news about the Queen and prince that has yet to be announced?
Out very own Prince Dmitry Ben Lishay will be looking for a woman to call his bride in this very batch of lady's!

No pressure to all the mothers and young woman.
My how I can't wait to see what the lady's wear to tonight's meeting with the Queen.

"Mother, who do you think this is?" My mother snatches the paper out of my hand and grabs my face forcing me to face the mirror "Does it matter dear? Hurry up and finish getting ready we don't need to be late!" She whacks my arm and shoos the maid away to get my jewelry.

Mother had a new dress made just for today I've been dying to wear it, mother made me get it last season so no one would see it and try and copy it. It's a gold floor length dress with a gorgeous beaded corset and it has my absolute favorite bell sleeves. When Lisa my maid comes back she has my grandmother's jewelry box and pulls out a gold chain necklace with a gold flower that hangs low and gorgeously.

"I think it does matter mother, she wrote about me what's to say the next thing she says won't be something absolutely terrible?" She whacks my arm again as she comes to stand in front of me she gives me a small smile and pulls some of my curly hair forward

"Darling trust me no one could write anything bad about someone as gorgeous and nice as you..." she cups my cheek with her hand as tears form in her eyes
"It's like yesterday you said your first words, took your first steps and hear you are now standing in front of me about to go in front of the Queen and possibly get married..." she sniffles and Lisa grabs her some tissue "promise you will visit me even when you have your own children and promise you will marry someone from here and not the northern or southern Air district." I smile at her and nod "I promise mother I'll never leave you." She blows her nose and wipes away her tears then shoos me down the stairs as she follows close behind watching to make sure I don't fall in my heals.

Standing at the tops of the stairs makes me feel like the center of attention as all eyes in the room turn to me, "Wow Melanie you really know how to look sooo.... Pretty?" My younger sister Celest says standing at the bottom of the stairs clapping her hands together. I pick up my dress and make my way downstairs "Who's all coming today mother?" The second I get to the bottom of the stairs she is fixing my dress and fluffing it out "Me, your father, Rubort, and Callem." My two younger brothers both a year apart from each other.

Rubort is supposed to be finding a wife this year but he told mother no because he wants to focus on his studies, I don't quite understand why the men can say no and sit out a season but the woman can't, not that I would I've been training and preparing for this moment since I was born.

Callem is two years younger than me but he wants to be looking for a wife this season mother told him no and that he is too immature to have a wife so he has to wait.

Father comes out of his study just as mother walks up to it with a huge smile on his face he laughs when he sees my mothers face "See I told you I would be ready now you can't yell at me!" After a couple seconds of father laughing mother joins him and punches his shoulder "Don't you know I was coming to tell you we need to leave now." He nods and holds his arm out for mother to take which she does and they turn back to me "Are you ready dear?" I nod and start heading for the front door
