After Jungsu was finally released from the hospital, he decided to pay a surprise visit to Jooyeon. Arriving at the hospital, Jungsu patiently waited at the drop-off zone, eagerly anticipating the moment he would see Jooyeon. When Jooyeon and Jiseok finally emerged from the building, Jungsu couldn't contain his excitement and called out to them, rolling down his window with a big smile on his face.
"Hey, Jooyeon and Jiseok. Do you guys want to have a ride back home?" Jungsu asked as the best friends looked at him questioningly as to how he knew about their final shift.
"There's no need; we'll take the bus," Jooyeon replied.
"Moreover, there is the possibility that we could cause inconvenience to you," Jiseok mentioned.
Jungsu reassured them, saying that "it was completely fine with him and that they shouldn't worry about coming home late because it was already late and he didn't want them to be in any danger."
A short time later, another vehicle began following closely behind Jungsu's car, only to reveal that it was Seungmin behind the wheel.
"Hey, Jiseok! Do you want to go home with me?" Seungmin asked, not noticing that Jooyeon was with Jiseok.
Jooyeon playfully shoved Jiseok towards Seungmin's waiting car, urging him to head home. Jiseok shot a disapproving look at Jooyeon, who simply chuckled in response. After some gentle persuasion, Jiseok reluctantly climbed into Seungmin's car, and they set off on their journey.
Jungsu is patiently waiting for Jooyeon to agree to let him take him home. "Please just let me take you home." After some persuasion, Jooyeon finally gives in and reluctantly gets into the car with him.
"I'm sorry for bothering you at this late hour. How'd you know my schedule?" Jooyeon asked.
"During my previous visit, I inquired about your schedule and also made sure to ask about Jiseok's schedule so that Seungmin could arrange to pick him up after work," Jungsu admitted with a hint of embarrassment.
They rode in the car quietly, taking in the sights around them. Jooyeon, exhausted from his long shift, eventually dozed off. When they finally arrived at their destination after a half-hour drive, Jungsu gently nudged Jooyeon awake.
Jooyeon couldn't believe that Jungsu was aware of his new address, causing him to scrutinize Jungsu with suspicion. Jungsu, in turn, felt a tinge of shyness and nervousness under Jooyeon's intense gaze.
"How did you know my address? Did Jiseok give it to you? Don't tell me you've been stalking me," Jooyeon questioned.
"From the moment I inquired about your schedule, I've been keeping track of your movements." Jungsu's attempt to confess his actions was abruptly halted by Jooyeon.
"What?! You've been following me this whole time. That's creepy," Jooyeon pointed out.
"I mean, it's late, and I'm worried about you for some reason. I know I've crossed the line. Besides, you almost got robbed the other day if I hadn't come over." Jungsu stuttered defensively as he answered.
Jooyeon vividly recalled the harrowing experience of almost falling victim to a mugging, only to have a mysterious stranger intervene and buy him time to safely reach his home. Since that fateful day, Jooyeon couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, yet he couldn't shake the strange intuition that the individual trailing him meant no harm. Despite the unease and lingering sense of paranoia, Jooyeon couldn't help but feel a strange connection to this enigmatic figure.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" Jungsu apologized.
"Everything is fine. Thank you for saving me," Jooyeon replied. Jungsu nodded, and they continued walking towards Jooyeon's apartment.
When they arrived at Jooyeon's unit, Jungsu bid him goodnight and turned to leave, but he was surprised when Jooyeon grabbed his wrist, momentarily stopping him in his tracks. Jungsu felt a rush of warmth spread through him at the unexpected touch.
"I'm just wondering if you would want some coffee?" Jooyeon nervously invited Jungsu. He fidgeted with his fingers, unsure of how he would respond to his invitation.
Jungsu, feeling perplexed, glanced at him with a puzzled expression but still agreed with a nod. They entered the house, and Jooyeon brewed coffee for the both of them.
As they both sat on the couch, the only sound in the room was the quiet sipping of their coffee. Jooyeon broke the silence with a hesitant voice, addressing Jungsu.
"If I'm being honest, Su, I missed you so much. I've been longing for your presence all this time." Jooyeon poured out his emotions, tears streaming down his face, prompting Jungsu to look at him with concern and gently wipe away his tears.
"I missed you too," Jungsu answered calmly, looking at Jooyeon intently and stroking his hair.
Jooyeon gazed intensely at Jungsu before mustering up the courage to ask if he could plant a kiss on his lips. "Su, may I kiss you?" Jungsu responded with a subtle nod, giving Jooyeon the green light to lean in and share a tender kiss with him.
The initial kiss started off gentle and sweet, as neither of them were experienced in this type of intimacy. However, Jungsu soon took the lead and deepened the kiss, causing Jooyeon to let out a small moan of pleasure. This sound was like a symphony to Jungsu, fueling his desire even more. Without breaking the kiss, Jungsu swept Jooyeon off his feet and carried him to the bedroom, where they continued their passionate make-out session.
"Are you sure you wanted to do this? You might regret it later." Jungsu asked permission.
"Yes," Jooyeon replied.
With that, they had a passionate night full of longing and love-making.
