Three years later, Gunil, Jungsu, Jiseok, Seungmin, Hyeongjun, and Jooyeon are reunited at a bustling pizza restaurant. During this time, the band has skyrocketed in popularity, while Jooyeon and Jiseok have successfully completed their medical school education and are now embarking on their careers as interns. The group reflects on their journey over the past few years, reminiscing on the highs and lows they have experienced together. As they enjoy their meal, they can't help but feel grateful for the bond that has kept them connected through it all.
"I have some announcements," Gunil said as all five of them looked at him.
"Keep going. Don't leave us hanging," Jiseok teased.
Gunil casually announced that he and Hyeongjun were going to tie the knot, causing his friends to erupt in cheers and laughter. The noise drew the attention of other customers in the vicinity, but the group simply laughed off the stares. Everyone in the group congratulated the couple, who then passed out wedding invitations to their excited friends.
"I am still in disbelief that you two are tying the knot. It feels like just yesterday that Hyeongjun would gush to me about how cool Gunil hyung looked while drumming and how he chuckled at Gunil hyung's cheesy jokes." Jooyeon playfully teased Hyeongjun, causing him to blush and hide his face in his hands.
"Stop exposing me like that, Joo!" Hyeongjun said.
"Aww, I didn't know you had a crush on me before." Gunil playfully teased his fiance, expressing surprise at the revelation that they had a crush on him. He couldn't help but find the situation endearing and amusing, realizing that he had been oblivious to their feelings for him.
"How come you knew about Hyeongjun's feelings before?" Jiseok asked.
"I would always hang out at their band practice room, and besides, I couldn't invite you over before, but you would always decline," Jooyeon pointed out.
"We could have met each other earlier. How come you would decline Jooyeon's invitation?" Seungmin said.
"I don't want to become Joo and Jungsu hyung's third wheel," Jiseok pointed out, which made all of them laugh.
"What about you two? It has been three years, and yet you guys aren't dating?" Gunil pointed in Jooyeon and Jungsu's direction.
"Well, we aren't there yet," Jungsu replied.
"Besides, it's fun having Jungsu as your best friend," Jooyeon said.
"Oof, you just got friendzone, Jungsu hyung." Seungmin teased, and with that, they all laughed at his statement.
The long-awaited wedding day had finally arrived, and the couple stood before their loved ones to exchange heartfelt vows and seal their love with a kiss, prompting cheers and applause from the gathered guests. Jooyeon's eyes glistened with tears of joy as he took in the happiness of his friends and family. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds moved on to the reception to celebrate their love and new life together.
Everyone was enjoying themselves, with many people dancing. Jungsu walked up to Jooyeon and asked him to dance, and Jooyeon eagerly pulled him onto the dance floor. They were both dancing and having fun.
"When will I get to that point in my life where I will get married?" Jooyeon said.
"I can't wait for us to get married in the future," Jungsu replied, which made Jooyeon look at him surprised.
"You wanted to marry me?" Jooyeon asked as he felt like his face flushed at the sudden conversation.
"Why would I not marry you? Besides, I've loved you for a long time. I can wait for you until you're ready." Jungsu reassured Jooyeon that he had been in love with him for a considerable amount of time and was willing to wait for him to be ready to marry him. He couldn't imagine a reason why he wouldn't want to marry him, as his feelings for him ran deep and unwavering.
"Perhaps now would be a perfect opportunity for us to rekindle our romantic relationship. If you're interested, that is." Jooyeon babbled on, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment, as Jungsu couldn't help but laugh at his adorable nervousness.
"Sure, I want to be your boyfriend, Lee Jooyeon," Jungsu replied, and he kissed Jooyeon. Hyeongjun and Gunil saw their friends kissing and made their way to them.
"It seems like you guys made up." Gunil playfully remarked that it appeared as though his friends had reconciled, causing them to startle at his unexpected comment.
Jungsu excitedly announced that he and Jooyeon were back together, sending Gunil and Hyeongjun into fits of joy. Hyeongjun rushed off to tell Seungmin and Jiseok the exciting news, eager for them to share in the happiness of Jungsu and Jooyeon rekindling their relationship.
"So, what's with the commotion that got us being dragged by Hyeongjun here?" Jiseok said.
"Me and Jungsu are officially dating again," Jooyeon gushed at his best friend.
"Oh, wow, congrats!" Seungmin happily greeted the couple.
"If you hurt Jooyeon again, I won't hesitate to punch you again," Jiseok teased.
"This time, I won't hurt him," Jungsu promised. Upon hearing this, Jiseok flashed a radiant smile and gave a hearty thumbs up to show his approval of their blossoming relationship. The group of friends swayed to the music, moving in sync with each other as they playfully ribbed one another, laughing and enjoying each other's company.
